I gotta take 2 stars away for the rude old man with the camo hat (no name tags) behind the counter he just brings everyone on both sides of the counter down I was gonna take three but the other staff were great so was the food but I don't think I'll come back unless he's gone I don't need that when I'm happy trying to get ice cream with my family.

Please explain why the posted hours on the website and Google say until 10pm on a Friday, yet the walk up window and lobby doors are locked at 930. I get having different lobby or walk up hours (barely) … but post them so people know what to expect.

I want to love Mike's but we've had some really questionable experiences. It's a great concept and the food is good but the management seems consistently poor. The interior lobby is always dirty, the customer service/friendliness of the team is very inconsistent and the staff are often loudly having very inappropriate conversations. It's also usually takes quite a bit of time to get your order and it's often incorrect when you do get it. I just wish they could tighten up the operations so it would be less of a gamble each time we visit.

Look, this place gets busy and they can take a bit, but they make honest burgers, classic drive-in style. Give them a break, they aren't McDonalds. Low ratings are only going to hurt this local business. Every time I've eaten here it's been very good and I've been treated kindly.

You can sit and eat at Red Robin faster than you can make it through the drive thru at Mikes. The two times I’ve been the drive thru line took over 30 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. Food is decent. Restaurant is staffed by teenagers who just really don’t want to be there.

Mikes drive in is actually "Mike's Drive In." Google couldn't afford apostrophes when they added this listing, so the mistake is entirely theirs.
I don't know Mike, but I hear he was in the Merchant Marine and dreamed of opening a drive in. So he jumped ship in Astoria and moved to Portland, to avoid the press gangs. Mike is pretty smart.
His burgers are great, too. They are great, old school burgers with the stuff on them, and nit just fries, but also coleslaw or a cookie and a drink in the basket. Pretty swell!

Amazing place! Kayeisha was working so hard! She was kind, friendly and made our experience wonderful! She needs a raise! She worked so hard and provided my family with a fabulous experience! I can’t wait to dine with mikes again and get her great service!
Burger - sloppy, squashed, sub par, sad eating experience . . but I have had good deserts there, before.
Service - Ho hum
Atmosphere - Whole seating area floor dirty and littered. Again . . sad
Either they are understaffed . . some of the crew are lazy - or both . .
Note to owner: Put more people on to keep up and/or train your staff better at that location. Pretty disappointing experience compared to previous experiences at your location and other Mike's drive-in restaurants.

Nice clean place good quality fresh food for a local burger stand definitely will be back good eating!
First time eating there i purchased the blue cheese bacon burger with fries. The burger was OK and same for the fries, the burger felt thrown together quickly and had an ok taste. It wasn't enough to make me want to go back soon but 2-3 times a year for a change is entirely possible.
