I love Mirautei! Hands down I think it’s some of the best ramen in town.
Every roll I’ve had has also been fresh and delicious. Spicy tuna actually has some heat to it. Always looking forward to having dinner here.
The young gentleman that greeted and sat me was wonderful. Other than that, I sat there waiting forever to order a bowl of ramen. No one acknowledged me, so I left.
🌟 A Return Worth Celebrating! 🌟
This was my second visit—and honestly, it was just as unforgettable as the first. I originally came here to celebrate my birthday, and the food blew me away so much that I had to come back for more.
Every dish I ordered was a masterpiece. The house tonkatsu ramen was rich and comforting, with a broth that could warm your soul. The dynamite salmon roll, hello kitty roll, and kazien roll each brought their own unique flavor profiles and textures—playful, bold, and beautifully balanced.
But the real showstopper? The chef’s choice sashimi. Each slice of fish was paired with toppings that elevated the flavor to a whole new level. It was clear that every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the result was nothing short of spectacular.
If you're looking for a place that delivers not just amazing food but a memorable experience, this is it. I’ll definitely be back again.

Staff was really awesome and helpful great atmosphere discovered this place on my lunch today great flavor will be back again forsure recommend!
They lost a credit card and were not very helpful!
Stopped in on a whim for lunch, and ordered the Kaizen and Salmon Aburi rolls, Sunomono, Gyoza and hot green tea.
The staff was really kind and attentive, the majority of the food was great. We had one roll where the tuna was not really tender and had some sinew in it that made it tough to eat (that's why we can't give it 5 stars), but the roll it was in had good flavor.
We will definitely give them another try.
The food is great and the service has mostly been great until today, I work a few blocks away managing a production facility and I've been coming here nearly every day with my service animal for lunch for about a month, I get my food to go I sit in the corner with my service animal away from everyone I pay and leave. Today there was a new server who was adamant that I couldn't be even near the doors with my service animal. I told him I had been coming almost every day for a month and no one else had said anything and he gave me a look like ya right. Either way I'm not going to wait outside in the rain so I'll find a new sushi restaurant that has better service!
Wonderful sushi, gyoza and ramen. I love this spot for some sake and dinner.
A really great ramen and sushi West Ryan! They have tons of specials and the staff was very friendly as well. A half mile walk from the convention center, in a decent part of town but has some rough parts. They also had a very nice drink selection.
Beautiful food and atmosphere

Open everyday!? Noon till 9 or later! Magic!
I think Portland suffers from an over saturation of "sushi" restaurants. My advice to my fellow sushi connoisseurs is to pass on this place. Overpriced for the portions and not too impressive.
A personal note to the owner; You should prioritize your in-house customers over the volume of Uber Eats customers that order from here.
For how long I waited for my meal, you'd think the wait time would match quality. It doesn't.

We love the food here and always take friends and family when they are in town. The service was extremely slow this time. Ramen came out for those who ordered it way before our sushi was ready. We had an amazing experience over the summer and the last two times have been lacking in service and atmosphere. It was busy, we had a party of 7. Seated pretty quickly, but the rest was slow. Other tables received orders before we did. Hope to continue going and have better luck next time.

Last Saturday, I celebrated my wedding anniversary at Mirakutei Sushi with my wife, indulging in their Omakase menu. Chef Hiro San (Hiroshi San) hasn't fully retired yet; he's in a semi-retired state, only serving Omakase on Fridays and Saturdays.
Exceptional Sushi Quality
The quality of sushi served was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. The fish was marinated for hours before dinner in the traditional way, allowing me to savor the distinct flavors of each variety, including tuna, salmon, tuna belly, eel, and calamari.
Chef Hiro San's Culinary Mastery
Unlike some cheaper sushi restaurants that overuse lemon, making all fish taste similar, Hiro San's creations were exquisitely delicious. Each piece of sushi was prepared fresh on the spot, showcasing his dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
A Satisfying Dining Experience
After enjoying the appetizer course and sushi, my wife and I were comfortably full and thoroughly satisfied with the exceptional quality of the food. Even the dessert was perfect - we ordered sesame ice cream and green tea cheesecake, which provided a delightful end to our meal.
Highly Recommended
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Mirakutei Sushi while Chef Hiro San is still actively serving customers. His skill and attention to detail make for an unforgettable dining experience. We will definitely be returning for more of his culinary artistry.
