My birthday carrot cake always comes from here! So moist, I love the pineapple in there, and the cream cheese frosting is so good. Looks pretty, too! My partner almost tried a new place this year, but I said NOPE! You find a winner, you stick with it.

Best breakfast burritos in Portland!!! Since moving to Portland from LA almost a year ago I go to Miss Zumstein's for the breakfast burrito. It's always on point, make sure to get there early since they tend to sale out.

Caramel latte was very good. We really liked the coffee cake. Our favorite was the grilled breakfast burrito. I was only thinking that sour cream would make it even better.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. We've consistently gotten terrible coffee in the last year and the pastries are becoming more hit and miss. Please retrain or hire a new barista. They do not know how to steam milk.

Cute, intimate coffee shop! Really enjoyed dining indoors with their hefty coffee mugs. Felt like a quintessential Hallmark-movie cafe experience! Our blueberry-lemon cheesecake streusel was yummy - not overly sweet just as we like it! Bacon & pepper jack biscuit was a tad on the dry side, but our matcha latte & cinnamon steamer were delicious!

What a great little bakery and coffee shop! We loved our sausage biscuit and apple scone. The coffee was delicious. They were well-staffed and everyone was friendly. It was near to peer into the back and see the action happening in the kitchen. I will definitely return.

My biggest problem was the unfriendly staff. I attempted to order. However the staff said they were all sold out of everything to eat. They brought me a coffee however there was nothing to eat with it. When I yelled back at the staff member that I couldn’t have the coffee alone. They just kept walking away. The way this staff made me feel was awful. I wanted to like this place since I just moved to Portland last week & it’s near where I’m staying. However I can’t do business with a place that made me feel awful like they did ?.
Great food, coffee & very friendly people. They are always open when they say they will be. Be sure to get there after me, don't want anyone taking my biscuit sandwich

Anja made us a beautiful carrot cake for our wedding. We decided to do a small tiered one with flowers provided by our florist for cutting and several sheet cakes for serving. It was moist and delicious, perfect for a November wedding - all of our guests loved it as well. She was responsive, kind, and courteous throughout the entire process. I would absolutely recommend Miss Zumstein!

Wow what a treasure ! Such a darling shop! My daughter took me here for surprise Mother's Day lunch in which we were served the most divine Greek salad accompanied by a grilled cheese focaccia with fresh asparagus! Pastries were plentiful & the two we sampled were fantastic. Wishing we weren't so far away in Beaverton or this place could very well become a habit. Next time going to sample some coffee from that fancy machine! Service was excellent as well. Wish I could give even more stars!
