Mississippi Studios is a top venue with great sound and awesome acts, although some wish performers were paid more. The intimate setting is perfect for shows, featuring a great dance floor and a nice balcony that is highly recommended for early arrivals. There are additional areas to explore, including an upstairs section. Known for its pristine sound and lively atmosphere, Mississippi Studios is a favorite for both local and touring bands. The crowd is cool and respectful, and the music is well mixed. The bartenders are amazing, and the beer and liquor selection is well procured. The house manager is accommodating, and the service is great. While there was a strong stench near the restroom area during one visit, the venue runs a great space with friendly staff. The main event room has only one bathroom, but water stations are available for those who don't drink. BarBar offers amazing food, and the ticket machines help avoid crazy fees. Overall, it feels like a tried and true music spot in the city.
