Outstanding food! The cook is wonderful and helpful about what is gluten free! The portion sizes are very large but you will not want your stop eating them!We were certain we wanted to come here after the ear piercing. So, we had called the night before and found out most of their food is gluten free except the gumbo. My husband is gluten free so I had the Trinity gumbo. He had the red beans and rice. Hands down some of the best we have had! I would recommend to anyone looking for Cajun in PDX. My husband was told about this spot from a coworker and we looked it up. We love Cajun food, so it was a must try. We would go back in a heartbeat. If you have a good allergy, call them and they know all of their ingredients/spices well to aide you. I can’t wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Very well knowledgeable on the ingredients and allergies associated with their foods. Would recommend to anyone with allergy restrictions to call and ask. They are awesome and hope you can enjoy it!

Found this cart at the new carts and tavern near Moda center. Wow what a find. It was a cold rainy day and needed something to warm up with. Chose to try some gumbo instead of the other carts. Man am I glad I did!The gumbo was spot on! Full of flavor, made with the proper ingredients, and the right way. I can definitely tell that they are proud of what they serve. The bowls presentation matched the great flavor. Not only was the seasoning on point, but even the rice was nicely cooked and the lemon wedge was fresh. It was such a treat to find a great gumbo cart. We left warm, full and satisfied after dining here. The guy at the cart was also nice and helpful and pretty quick at serving.100% recommend and will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Nope More nope

The shrimp and grits was great but I bought some sweet potatoes pies and they were old and expired with very visible freezer burn. I took a bite in case it was maybe overcooked driedout . Nope taste like the back of the fridge ?.I won't come to this location. I can't trust the quality or food safety here. If you can cut and serve that food with visible issues to a customer then it shows you don't give a damn.

Absolutely delicious! I got the Trinity and the Nipsy Hustle. The gumbo was so flavorful and the meat was stewed to perfection. Glad to see some true southern comfort food in Portland.

Horrible. Do not waste your time. Customer service was bad as we waited 30 minutes for our food and on top of that, they were out of half the items they had on the menu. There were large chunks of onion that should have been chopped more along with the onion skins in the gumbo. I am originally from Louisiana and this gumbo was no where near being authentic. This was the first and last time I'll be eating here.

The vegan gumbo is the truth. Super flavorful and great portions. Price is pretty affordable too. I got a small and added in some of the vegan fixings and it was more than enough food.

The food is amazing, quick service, great prices and the woman running the cart was an absolute gem, just like the cart. I wish I had gotten her name to shout her out. I will definitely be going back. I got the trinity gumbo bowl and vanilla puddn’ - 5 stars all around.

A special little restaurant hidden away off Foster \\u0026 off 52nd. Parking on the street so you can stop to eat or pick up to go. The food is like none other the gumbo is really tasty with the shrimp. There quick in preparing the food . There are picnic tables you can eat at. Friendly atmosphere, and a nice person works there. The menu is great for any time of year. The banana pudding is very tasty and a good into your meal, which is very filling. Nutritious meal!

I went here after someone walked past me with a bowl of gumbo. I smelled it and that was enough. The cart was operated by a really nice woman name “Noa” (I hope I spelled it right). She let me ask all the questions, which was great because she let me mix in the red beans, with my gumbo and meats. Then put all of that, in with my rice. The portion was enough for me to get two good sized meals and let my landlady have a small plate ehhhhhh. The food was incredible. FLAVOR. I don’t even like okra and I ate it. I did the gumbo with double chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was NOT over cooked, and the food was blazing hot…even when I got home. Noa also packed my extra into a separate container. Next time, I will do the double chicken and sausage. Definitely going back. Service, food A+!! Easy seating that is covered right in the middle of the pod. ADA Accessible. Parking in the neighborhood behind the pod, is easy.

My friend and I came around 8pm on a Thursday and there was no line. Ordered the small bowl with chicken and andouille which was def enough portion for 1 person to be full. Waited about 10 min for food to be prepared. Tasted very hearty and chicken was tender, solid meal for the price!

Man this place is a joke. I got the trinity gumbo and it had 3 pieces of shrimp and a few super thinly sliced pieces of sausage and I couldn’t find any chicken. Definitely not worth the 16 I paid. I felt like I got ripped off. And to top it off the owners are from Cali not Louisiana. Culture
