We didn’t order food, but this place is a whole vibe. Diner/bar/gaming. The pinball machines were cool. I love that people can choose their own adventure. One third is primarily diner, one third is primarily bar/diner, and one third is the pinball machines, a pool table etc. The bartender was friendly and we loved the decor. A well-kept dive.

Was going to go in until I saw they only accept cash and the lady was rude when were we're trying to find somewhere else to go cause we had outside drinks but we weren't inside we were outside never had that happen before

Was waiting for the streetcar and went in for just a glass of water as it was a hot day with a heat advisory warning. Bartender greeted me and gave me a glass of water, but as I didn’t have ID (im 28) she said I had to sit down in the under 21 section of the establishment. Ok, no problem I go sit at the cafe bar and the waitress starts grabbing a menu I told her i won’t be having anything just the water. She gave me a weird look and came back a minute later again asking so I reiterated I’ll just be having water then made a joke unless you have free coffee. She goes to the bartender I overhear her say “I’ll handle it.”. Bartender comes to me and says we don’t serve free coffee. And I say yeah I know it was just a joke I’m just waiting for the streetcar so I came in to drink some water. She then explains to me if I’m not buying anything then I have to drink my water and leave so I say ok. The bartender was all right at least she gave me some water but the waitress with the short hair and looked to be about 40 y/o came off as unwelcoming, rude, and with her nose in the air before she even knew I wasn’t going to order anything. I have been to many bars and just gotten water while killing time before an appointment or something, and none of them ever acted like this. If that’s their policy, fine they can say that and let me know from the start I would have left right away but there was no sign and wasn’t explained anything about policy they simply said if you’re not buying anything you have to leave like I was causing a problem. A little grace would have been nice, instead seemed like the waitress thought she was too good to even talk to me had to get someone else to talk to me as if I was a problem. I came here to see the inside and maybe come back as I work close by but I definitely will not be coming back I’ll make sure to not and the waitress does not belong in customer service with an attitude like that which you can immediately see on her face as soon as you walk in it wasn’t busy in the slightest i wasn’t causing any problems.

2 years ago I bought 23 and me and thought driving from Florida to Oregon was going to finally give me the answers. I learned a valuable lesson the day I arrived.. My father was not there.. but I had O'Reilly's hash browns in front of me the whole time.
Fast service. Friendly...a good dive vibe. Ate. Played video poker. Restroom & gone.

What a great place. The staff is super friendly and the place has a very low key vibe. Food was American bar fare and an all day breakfast menu. Who doesn’t like breakfast?!? They were really good about special orders and kids are allowed in the restaurant side.

Warm and eclectic atmosphere. Savory and delicious food. Fast and friendly service. Love this place and will add it to my list of places to bring visitors to Portland. I had a bloody Maria that was incredible. I enjoyed the ham eggs and hash browns. All prepared perfectly. Thank you for a great experience.

I just all around never enjoy my time there lol. But it’s one of the only places open late. Chicken and fries are good. 🤷🏻♀️
