More places should be like here. I wish I could take it home with me and hang out here every day until I’m very very old.
My girlfriend and I come here often late at night. They always do a stellar job. However, this morning at 9 AM we walked in and got some of the worst service and attitude we have ever experienced. While we understood that our server had multiple tables, she greeted us and we were happy. It took her a while for her to ask us what we’d like to drink, which was a simple latte (which is produced by a machine, which we love at MFP) and then she walked off without asking if us if we wanted anything else. Eventually, we ordered a cup of soup, which is always stellar. And it took us another 20 minutes to interact with our server to order any more food. The food hit the table via the nicest trainee, who asked if we needed anything else, and then once we had waited long enough to pull out my cash and pay the tab, our server walked up and in a rude manor, asked if we needed any change to which I said, “I don’t know yet,” and I got a weird response, and therefore I left the worst tip I have ever left in my life as a 10 year full-service server and bartender.
My girlfriend and I have worked this industry for about a decade, and it’s just unfortunate that people that work in very opportunistic environments treat people in the manner that we were treated.
On a positive note, both Sara‘s that usually work nighttime are the greatest ever and we love them dearly!
A dying breed. Big menu, reasonable prices, friendly down to earth staff. Fantastic spot for breakfast or a drink after work.
I like this spot alot and i heard food is great
Very unassuming place in town(SE). Would definitely categorize as a dive, but the food and service were awesome. Downside, it's in the battle zone of drugs, homelessness, and mental health, which adds a little, and takes away a little from the experience. 🧟♂️
Great customer service awesome food
The bartender was rude & the server was all over the place. Happy hour and specialty cocktails were definitely lacking. But the food was amazing!
Stumbled in after a LONG night, great food and great service, priced fairly and would highly recommend!
Great little dive bar open late, kitchen open late, vegan options and a great Bloody Mary ?
