This used to be my favorite food cart many years ago. Decided to pop in today and was pretty disappointed. I get inflation but — they no longer serve avocado on their lunch plate, the meat portion was HALF or less of what is used to be. Tiny. Plus it didn’t taste anywhere near the quality it used to be. The cucumbers didn’t taste as good. It was all just disappointing and MEH. Another Portland gem lost.
This is one of my favorite place to eat! The people who work there are always so kind as well! I usually get the Aloha Plate with some Mac Salad that is to die for!

Used to absolutely LOVE this place. Unfortunately, big time staffing/support issues seem to have ruined the formerly consistent, quality food.
Twice in 2024 have been denied service an HOUR before closing cuz they were selling out. Not mad that you’re busy, just that we waited 10+ mins in line when they should JUST SAY they’re sold out… Tonight we did get served (at 5:30pm) and it was very short on protein, bland. Happy employee for once tho

This place used to be great. Now they’re closed 3 or more days per week. They’re closed even when the sign says open. When they are open, the dude in the cart sits and watches YouTube instead of taking orders. Lame.

Bri & I shared the kahlua pork & mac salad. It was very good. Forgot pics: dove into the food. Took a little bit to make, but worth it. Shared dinning space in food cart pod.

Cool food truck! I got the teriyaki chicken Hawaiian plate. The Mac salad was delicious and my order came with two scoops. The teriyaki sauce was a little too sweet for me. Decently priced.

the vegan Hawaiian lunch plate is INCREDIBLE!! The Mac salad is everythinggggg ? Updated from previous review on 2023-11-23
Namu food quality is always great. Even if your veg or vegan, there is a jackfruit option. Add pineapple and kimchi for perfection!

This guy made the most tasty food ever. I got a Hawaiian teriyaki lunch (chicken), everything was so flavorful, to the point that I was considering to buy another plate to go. Highly recommended.

Everything on the plate besides the chicken was too sweet (maybe the teriyaki sauce?) and there was way too little meat for a $15 meal. I expected to get a large plate of chicken but instead there were like 5-7 small pieces. RIP my daily protein macros. :( The chicken was also slightly overcooked for my taste. Overall it tasted somewhat alright, but a huge rip-off for the price. I would highly recommend Ate-Oh-Ate if you want good teriyaki chicken.

Came back and had a great meal for the price. Old guy is stupidly funny. Very filling. Late!
