It was absolutely amazing. I proposed to my girlfriend of 5 years here & the manager let me go up to their rooftop garden. The best proposal ever! Overlooking the beautiful downtown Portland. Absolutely amazing place and the owner was extremely accommodating. She set up lights on the garden for us before we went up. 10/10 would recommend every single time. Thank you Noble Rot!

I attended with a TimeLeft group and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the vegetarian entree which was a mix of roasted and raw veggies with amazing sauce. It was super tasty!

We tried the soup, a small salad, and the charred cabbage (no meat) dishes, as well as a couple drinks. I was a big fan of the soup, which I believe was celery heart and maybe rutabaga (?). The salad was quite small (which the server made sure we knew about--thanks!), but very fresh and flavorful. Kudos on their preparation of the cabbage--it had a very pleasant combination of flavors and textures. The ambience was pretty noisy for our visit. We were happy for our fellow diners that they were having a good time, but it was pretty hard to hear each other talk. I don't know how the restaurant is supposed to manage that--maybe more absorbent surfaces? But overall it was a nice meal and we will definitely be back.

Excellent food and good service. The restaurant is on the fourth floor and the elevator is out of order so this is not a good destination for those with mobility concerns. You have to walk and down the four flights of stairs, no exceptions.

The cocktails were incredible and the duck confit was to die for. They have perfect portions and a perfect balance of acid and fat. Our waiter was a sweet pea too very kind even on an incredible busy night. Will definitely be back.

The wine selection is incredible and the servers are all very knowledgeable and can make great recommendations on which wines will pair best with your meal. Our server took extra care to check on a few in our party with food allergies and did it all with a smile. This is our family's favorite place to share a special night out.
The food was delicious. We shared the house salad with blue cheese dressing. It was terrific. I had the halibut dish and my husband had the duck confit. The food was perfectly prepared. We did order the brandy alexander cocktail for our dessert. It was not a traditional brandy alexander - the only part of the meal we did not enjoy. Overall, a great meal, the service was spot on. and we highly recommend.
