The onion tart is amazing! The endive salad beyond amazing! Josh, at the bar, is great. Can't imagine a better bartender The setting is the best of PDX! I want to go back very soonThank you

The worst service I have experienced, and from an apparent manager at that. I ordered the mussels and apparently it was my fault for not knowing that nduja was sausage in a dish called sautéed mussels. I do not eat any pork or red meat for personal reasons, and the manager, after my insistence to the server that I did not desire anything further, insisted on requesting my name to « note for further reservations of my diet » (of which there will be none) and so generously offered to take off the uneaten entree from my bill. During this unilateral escalation, she claimed that the meat was clearly marked, it was not, and did not once express any remorse or sympathy for the violation. I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment to anyone, especially as it stands under the supposed supervision of such an individual.

Yum! A friend recommended this place for the wine selection, which I don't drink, but she enjoyed it! The food was AMAZING!! Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating Variety of food for any eaters! Great wine/cocktail/mocktail list Easy to get reservations Cons: 4th floor and the elevator has been broken for a while If you sit on the patio or by the west windows during sunset hours its REALLY bright and they don't close the curtains, but they do offer sunglasses!

Noble Rot food, beverages, ambiance and staff can not be beat! We are fans for life! Thanks to Josh, Allison and all the crew for a great night! The braised beef pasta was so amazing!

Service from host, server and manager was excellent. Friendly and efficient, food coursed in a timely manner, but not rushed, great wine offerings. We shared many small plates and loved both desserts, pb&j, panna cotta. Will definitely be back to eat the other half of the menu

Exceeded our expectations. We are from out of town and were wanting to try the food of portland! Fantastic service, they explain every detail about your food which was appreciated. it was in such a cute spot. We didn't sit on the patio but next time we will! Thank you Noble Rot!

Yummy cocktails and food. View from the rooftop deck was stunning and the inside dining is really lovely too

Had a great experience except the elevator was out and had to walk up 4 floors. I probably wouldn't have done it except I had an out of town guest and didn't want to disappoint her.

Great rooftop. A bit chilly but really nice views. The waiter could have explained a bit more in depth about the different wines. It's like they expect you to know everything about the wine already even though you're ordering flights. Could explain a bit more while we taste, and that way you know what to order. But great atmosphere, vibes, and choices overall

I find this place to very Portlandish. The vibe is that of Portland to me. The food is okay, the service is good. The view is very nice, you can see west hills from your seat. It is a large place, it can take many people. It’s on the 4th floor of the building and a bit difficult to find. I will return and try something more.

My girlfriend took me on a dinner date to Noble Rot after finding it in one of Portland's Guides. It exceeded expectations, especially after so many other restaurants and eateries in the area left us a little disappointed. We were seated where we were able to get a good amount of sunshine without being physically on the patio, and our waiter was very pleasant. We got the cheese plate, an Old Fashioned, and a wine flight to start. If I were forced to say something negative about any of them, it would be that there was no cherry in the Old Fashioned. That is, to say, that everything was splendid. And I'm sure that if I would have asked, they would have been happy to accommodate a cherry request. The cheese plate consisted of a good variety, and the wine flight ranged nicely in the complexity of its flavors. My Old Fashioned was delicious and the presentation of it was great as well. We ~almost~ ordered the mussels for a second appetizer, but figured we'd be plenty full after our entrées and dessert. This was a good call, as the servings for both the king salmon and the duck were generous. I ordered the duck, which was prepared wonderfully. The fried kale was delicious, as were the navy beans, but the duck stole the show, which was to be desired. When one makes a meal of a pond-dwelling bird, you often expect it to be a bit on the drier side of moist. This was not at all the case for Nobel Rot's duck. It was flavorful, well cooked, and well proportioned. When my lady ordered the salmon, she was told it would be served a little on the rare side. It came, and everything about it was lovely. The vinaigrette complemented it wonderfully, as did the lentils and squash. The salmon was also accompanied by a side of tender baby herbs, presumably from Noble Rot's garden, which was both a welcome and delicious addition to the dish. Next was dessert. At first glance, the fried banana split appealed to us, but something about coconut ice cream didn't appeal to either of our palates. We opted instead for the Crème brûlée, and were both satisfied to split it. There was nothing overtly special about it, but still it was quite good. All in all, on future occasions, we will certainly be returning to Noble Rot.

Went for our anniversary. The food was delicious...recommend skipping the baguette and butter as the baguette was too hard but the herb butter was delicious. Highly recommend the mussels and the peanut butter and jelly dessert. I ordered duck which was delicious although didn't love the beans with it. Wine selection was extensive and wait staff was top tier. Can't wait to go back and try the salmon.

We love this place. The views are stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food and drinks are very, very good. Our only issue is the noise level. The tables are close together and they're all hard surfaces. It was impossible to hear our tablemates.
