I had an amazing experience at Nossa Familia Coffee today. Tara, Aiyana, and Danny (the store manager) were absolutely wonderful. Their kindness and warmth made a real difference. When they overheard a bit of what I was going through, they went above and beyond and offered me the most incredible chai latte with oat milk — and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The atmosphere here is welcoming, the staff genuinely care, and the customer service is top-tier. Encounters like this remind me how powerful compassion can be.

I stopped into Nossa Familia Coffee for my go-to drink — the Honey Lavender Latte — and it did not disappoint. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that subtle floral sweetness that makes you want to slow down and savor every sip. Absolute perfection in a cup.
I also love that they’re committed to supporting local farmers and sustainable practices — it makes enjoying their coffee feel even better. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is friendly, and the location couldn’t be better.

Small, not really any food except some dry looking pastries and and toast. No smiles with pretty muted personalities at the register. I’ve had friendlier customer service from a vending machine. No sugar free flavors, but to coffee was good

Been twice and this is definitely going to become one of my go- to spots on the east side! The staff is super welcoming and awesome, they have some unique drink options, and their Matcha is amazing! It has a bright vibe with some plants, great decor, and a fair amount of seating. When it’s nice out the café opens up it’s rollup windows too. Definitely would recommend!

Bought coffee beans and a spicy Mocha Fogo at Nossa Familia. This place was founded by a Brazilian immigrant that moved to Portland 20 years ago. Nossa Familia means “our family” in Portuguese.

lovely little coffee shop, very friendly staff. I had a chai latte, and it was a perfectly spicy treat.
I then saw two others pick up orders of avocado toast. omg. going to need to come back and try one. Looked like the size of my head, toast was so thick and the red onions on one of them.... I wish I hadn't just had breakfast.
I had some sort of tree flavored latte (I think it was a few different tree flavores) and it was SO good. One of the best lattes I've had.

Definitely my only choice for coffee when I am in SE. I love Nossa on 3rd so much - fantastic coffee quality, always consistent, friendly folks who are a joy to start my day with. I love to just come in and quickly grab a cup, but its also a great place for me to get some work done. I don't go anywhere else these days. Keep doing what you are doing!

This place has absolutely spoiled me with their espresso. It is consistently perfect! All of the baristas are so well trained and a joy to interact with. Any time I need to get my Ameeicano somewhere else I am never satisfied anymore because it just doesn't compare to Nossa on 3rd!
