Always great food and service at NYAJ's in Stonebridge, Woodbridge, VA. Manager, Henry, and ace server, Des, make every visit a superb dining experience. My bride often orders a Pain Killer and a Southwest Salad; I usually stick to salad and grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup—all excellent choices. For regional manager, Bobby, no need to respond to this review; it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you.

One of the best restaurants in the Woodbridge area so we dine there weekly. The menu options are quite varied and the food is consistently excellent. A very peasant atmosphere and the service is outstanding. The managers are always visible in the dining room so your dining experience is always first rate.

We love this restaurant and dine here weekly. Our favorite server, Des, always ensures a perfect dining experience. There are so many great entree choices but on this occasion I had a salad and the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. My bride had the Santa Fe Chicken Salad; a favorite of hers. She also had the best Pineapple Painkiller in the area! Thanks to all the staff at NYAJ's.

I ordered a meal, I told the waitress that I am allergic to pork, they changed it for me but they made it with pork again, and the attitude of the restaurant server was bad. You just have to be careful when people tell you that you are allergic to a food.

I recently ordered a salad from and was quite disappointed with the delivery experience. Despite the simplicity of my order, and the restaurant being unbusy, it took an unreasonably long time to arrive. I understand that delays can happen, but waiting over 30 minutes for a salad is unacceptable. The food itself was fine, but the delivery time really soured the experience for me. I hope the restaurant can improve their delivery efficiency in the future.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants and we dine there weekly. We like the menu options (they just got a new menu) and the vibe. Best of all, the service and staff are outstanding! The managers (Mona and Henry) are engaged and always stop by to assure all is well and the servers (our favorite is Des) are excellent. We cannot say enough about Des; she anticipates our every need and remembers our preferences on every visit. Just a great place to dine!

This was our first time to Not Your Average Joes and we really enjoyed it. Our food was very great but the evening was especially enjoyable becuase of the outstanding service! Would highly recommend it!

An absolutely delicious dining experience for our date night! Rosemary scallops and Ahi tuna salad entrees were both prepared to perfection! Focaccia bread with special olive oil dipping sauce is always a favorite and we topped the meal off sharing the homemade key lime pie. Thanks NYAJs!!!

It's been over a year since our last visit to NYAJ. We were greeted immediately by the manager who seated us and engaged us with a conversation which was great! He gave us our server name and said he would be back to check on us and he did. Our server was also attentive. It was early and between lunch and dinner so it wasn't busy, so I am not sure if we would have received the same service. The food was just okay, crispy and hard are two different descriptions and our fried foods were hard and leftovers was not edible. The fish at first was ok, however quickly became hard to eat because the breading was thick and hard. They should go back to their original fish and chips. And we miss the tempura vegetables!

Service and food were outstanding. Summer, our server, was polite, professional, and attentive. The manager checked on us a few times during our meal. Prices were reasonable. We were there on a Friday night, but the crowds in no way hindered the quality of service. A good place to go for brunch after church. We will definitely be back.

It was a delicious fish dinner!!! We sat on the patio so the noise from the next restaurant over was what caused me to rate the noise level loud. The other restaurant had a DJ on their patio right next to us. No fault of NYAJ's. Otherwise, we had a fantastic meal with fantastic service.

We always have great service and the food is always excellent! Our only complaint is that there is never enough bread and dip! We could seriously make meal on that amazing stuff!!! We love the Woodbridge Not Your Average Joe's!!

Our waitress, whose name I Forget, but she was at this fabulous African-American gal who memorized all of our orders and presented everything in a timely manner. She is a total asset to your establishment and personally I would give her a raise.

NYAJ has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I have not been in a couple of years and I was disappointed. It's no longer the thriving place it used to be to be. The service was lacking and no spirit of teamwork and every man for themselves. We were not checked on and the personality of our server was flat. We had to ask someone else for a refill and that seemed to be an inconvenience and that was because our server only robotically came to either take order, bring drink, bring food, bring check. The prices have inflated drastically and I am sure between the lack of service, spirit, and food hike...why I see an empty restaurant on a Saturday night. I rated higher than I should have.

We've been coming here since the restaurant opened. Overall the food here is excellent and our server even asked if we had any food allergies they needed to know about. That said, I personally feel that they overcharge for a glass of sangria and most bar drinks.
