Food was Decent, guy running the bar and taking to go orders was not, was rude, yelled Wow loudly at us when our backs were turned and ran off back to chat with another customer at the bar.
Great beer! It can be chilly in there though
I'm not much of a beer drinker but I still go if I'm invited. Watermelon strawberry sour was good. I enjoyed the live music, burger food cart, covered outdoor seating, and the staff were lovely too!!!
This is one of my favorite places to hang out with friends. The beer is tasty, the customer service is friendly, and the deep dish pizza is delicious with so many vegan choices. There are sometimes food trucks outside too. Super fun for trivia night.
Relaxing environment and friendly knowledgeable staff. Perfect place to have a drink before heading to the airport which is 4 miles away.
Emily my bartender was great during my quick stop in for an equally quick pint. I had never been in before and asked Emily if of she had a recommendation. Without hesitating she offered up the Japanese lager and it matched her description of what to expect and why I may like it. Was nice to get thoughtful active response versus the too common "uh I don't know." or "everything is good" answers when asking for recommendations. Cheers!
This place is great, but not for Millennials with young kids that want to run around and climb on things.
You have placed a stage and barrels in the outdoor seating area and you expect kids not to climb on them, you’re ridiculous.
Level and Crux have figured it out, they understand a large percentage of their clientele are Millennials with kids, with disposable incomes. They have put out play equipment for kids to climb on.
My table easily dropped $200 in food and drink, and I understand if you’re concerned about kids’ safety and liability, but the way your staff handled it yesterday was inappropriate. He came out and said, “I’ve told your kids three times to stop climbing on the barrels, if I have to tell you again, you’ll have to leave.” Excuse me. First of all, my kids are two and four, you talk to me about their behavior, not them. And two, you can have a little tact when handling these types of situations (it won’t be your last) remember, we’re paying customers that will take our dollars elsewhere if we don’t like the way we’re treated.
So to parents, if you’re looking for a place to hangout with friends, grab drinks, eat at food carts, and let your kids run around, I recommend Level off Marine Drive. They have several carts to choose from, a pinball area inside, a nice covered area for the winter, and a very large grassy area outback with a playground. Oh, you can even bring your dogs and let them run around in the fenced area!
Eugene based Oakshire Brewing has a cool taphouse and pizza joint in Portland. They took the time and effort to brew three lager styles, so I rewarded them by sampling each. Their trademark Watershed IPA is my last slot. Mexico is nicely malty. Lagerbier is like Bitburger pils. The happy surprise is Italia which is well hopped with a bitter back. The IPA is clean and clear (looking and tasting) but brings the IBUs. The pizza looks amaze.
Delicious beer, friendly staff, great food and and a very chill atmosphere. What more could you want?
My favorite place for beers in PDX! My go-tos are the Hazy IPA and the Cucumber Sour, but you can't go wrong here with any of their beers. They also offer delicious pizza and salads, as well as have an amazing burger food truck on-site. Besides the beer being great, the staff is just the best - so friendly, specifically Kacee, Clayton, and Sam. We've been coming here for years for a reason! (And they have a dog-friendly patio, which we love!)

Great brewery. Fast and friendly service. Nicely decorated. Flights available with 4 beers.
Solid 4.5+ stars, great beer, pizza, and service. We can't wait to come back...The ill-tempered nome winter ale is delicious and the prosciutto pizza.
Love trivia night!
