I normallt never eat out and I had 9 dollars to spend and I was really hoping it would be worth it. I Ordered the small kalua pork bowl, the portions were good and it would have tasted good accept for the bitter burnt taste, the rice was very sweet but it helped a little to over power burnt meat.

Cloyingly sweet and over sauced, chicken was overcooked and rice is kind of mushy. Hawaiian is always hit or miss but this is a miss for me.

Fantastic Hawaiian food! Got the shoyu chicken (spice) and it had a great texture and great flavor. This is will be one of my main spots for lunch.

Ordered the Katsu, it was a soggy mess. The sauce is Ketchup on the katau and a sweet sauce all over the rice which I didn't care for disnt finish eating the rice because of it The Mac was overcooked and mushy. If I wasn't hungry I wouldn't have eaten it. But the actual chicken was good.

This is the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. The Kahlua Pork is so dry it seems like it was cooked 2 days ago and has some cheap BBQ sauce on it. It doesn't even taste like pork. The Mac salad is so overcooked the pasta is mushy. The only thing on this plate that is edible is the rice and it's pretty hard to mess up rice.

Kalua pork with Mac salad and spam musubi was delicious. Quickly made as well.
Kalbi chicken is so good, super friendly/prompt service and I loved their macaroni salad which has some dill in it. Yum.

I ordered the Kalua Pork and my girlfriend had the Katsu Chicken. Very hearty meals for a fair price. Owner is very friendly and happy to talk us through the different options available. Covered dining area with heaters nearby which is ideal for a cold March lunch.

He was out of the Moco Loco and didn't tell me till I ordered it. Even though I asked him what it comes with beforehand. I ordered the Chicken Katsu with 2 fried eggs on it. The eggs were burnt and tasted bad. The white rice was unexpectedly sweet from whatever Katsu sauce was on it. He drowned the food in the sauce. I did not like it. Basically, only the chicken tasted good.

Who's cooking the food? All meats are way to salty and dried out. Mass amounts of meats precooked but so overly salted. Whoever is cooking has a dead palette or doesn't care anymore. I ordered loco moco and the beef was so salty, cart owner offered to refund or give me another meet and I went with the Kahlua pork which was dry and again overly salted it was abrasive. The mac salad is not anything close to Hawaiian mac. There is no dill seasoning in Hawaiian mac salad. Fail on that one. But very nice people. This cart has been around for a long time so I'm sure many do enjoy it but this is not for me. Plenty of better genuine Hawaiian food carts around.
