This little corner bar is a diamond in the rough! Visiting from out of town, we were looking for so e good food! We found them on Google, checked the menu and only needed to read a few descriptions before we were on our way! Not going to lie, we walked in and thought.... are we in the right place? But we went ahead with the plan. Our server was lovely, and told us we were in for a treat dining there, and he was not wrong! There were so many things we just had to try. the bourbon bacon dates, wings, thw goat cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon, the the beer cheese with pretzels and sausage and the bacon habanero jam burger with fries. All was amazing food. we left stuffed, eith boxes of food for the next day. This place was an awesome find for our first night in Portland. Locals... you need to try this place!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will not forget this place if we ever return!

I swung by O’Dears for happy hour for the first time Tuesday afternoon, and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff. Aja (Asia? I’m not sure how to spell her name) was our bartender. She’s friendly—the perfect mix of playful and professional, and although it was quiet, being a weekday mid-afternoon, she balanced giving us both attention and space flawlessly. The O’Dear old fashioned was delicious, BUT the lavender lemon drop (her suggestion!) was *amazing*. Lavender is so tricky in food and drink, and it was perfectly mixed. The steak bites were also delicious, and a larger portion than anticipated. All in all it was a lovely afternoon; I’m so glad we found O’Dears, it’s going to be our new spot.

I'm giving the service a 5, because the bartender was smoking hot (he looked like some Italian model), so if it sucks for you, I apologize. It's big! And dead. It was so dead in there. To the point where my friend and I were the only ones. It has a crazy cool FREE photo booth, called the Soul sucker or something like that. You can get your pictures in a slideshow sent to your phone and I totally took advantage of that. It's dark, it's cavernous, and clearly the food is good (a door Dasher was waiting for food, so...). It's definitely worth a checkout (if ya know what I mean! 😂).

Swung in here while in Portland on vacation. Bartender/server was super friendly and fun to chat with. Seemed to kind of be in the hood but we never felt unsafe.
The burgers and cheese curds were really good. We'd go back for sure if we're in Portland again.

This is the GEM of evening escapades...pool tables, karaoke nights, huge area to dance, and now live music on Fridays! Nicole and the other amazing bartenders are mixing up libations for the Gods, and they also serve up a full menu-there's something for everyone, We never miss Wednesday night karaoke with DJ Amicus!

Every time I come into Portland, I stop to have dinner at Oh Dear. The food is amazing and the prices are fantastic. As a bonus, the staff is absolutely top notch. We found this little spot by complete accident but we now make it our permanent place to eat whenever we’re Portland bound. You won’t be disappointed!! Nicole the bartender is the best!
