First time coming to this place. Great service. Cool vibe. I will be back. The first Saturday parties are cool. Good security, great host, decent prices, and the DJs keep the dance floor full. Clean ? too

The poor bartender was the only person on service. That meant from my arrival to 5:30ish, I had to walk up to the bar and request a drink, water, napkin, food....But, even after my friends started showing up and the number of staff increased,(6p.m.) no one came to our table to take our order. But, no one really took any orders unless you went to the bar. Food was delivered, but it felt like we were a bother when we waited to order.The food was ok. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was heated up and then blasted with a torch to crisp up the top.

4.5/5 stars! The bartender Michael was great! So friendly, personable, and made great drinks as well as conversation. The food here is PHENOMENAL. The crab cakes are some of the best I've ever had, including in NOLA and Maryland. My partner and I split the bacon habanero jam burger and it was great! Perfect blend of sweet, salty, and spicy. The vibe is upscale dive without being snooty. We will definitely be back!

The mahogany wings and skewered shrimp were a hit! No utensils, to eat with for sharing or napkins, went to bar to ask for utensils and the bartender was short tempered and rude, maybe a long night but that is part of the job. Patrons were asked for $10 cover charge after they had ordered cocktails and food! I noticed several patrons head upstairs to avoid charge. In the future ask for cover prior to entrance!

I was drugged in this place... and I believe with all my heart it was the bartender and I have valid reasons as to why I believe
Birthday dinner - called half a day ahead to let them know we'd have a party of 12-15 upstairs. They acted like they had it handled and we went into the night confident we picked the right spot. But when we got there, the waitstaff informed us that we would all need to order from the bar, despite the fact they were coming up to deliver and pick up items regularly and they were COMPLETELY DEAD ALL NIGHT.In the 2ish hours we were there, there were MAYBE 6 other ppl in the bar total, yet the waitress and bartender seemed flummoxed whenever we came down to order ANYTHING. Despite that, we ordered hundreds of dollars of food and drinks. That said, it was my birthday and I got 1 drink lol (first one they brought out was wrong). We had plenty of plans tonight and plenty of drinks to order/tips to give too. I've really tried to love this neighborhood spot but the best we could hope for from O'Dear tonight was joke-worthy service (not the first time). This is the nicest way I can put it.
