I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 5 years and always wanted to check Oma's out. I took a friend to have my first time experience. Overall, it was pleasant experience. Our dumplings (as part of dumpling week) were the best dumplings that I've tried so far (3rd dumpling spot tried). The entree (BBQ rice) was great as well. The drinks were on the pricey side, but I get that you are not going to Oma's to sit and drink and that the food is the main star....
Had such a great experience at Oma's Hideaway! Overall, the food was really tasty and full of flavor. The roti canai was perfectly flaky and comforting, the lamb satay was deliciously seasoned, and the beet salad was an absolute hit — fresh, vibrant, and unexpectedly memorable. Excellent food and small plates, good guidance and help from the servers to get the correct number of dishes to the table. Wonderful drinks! We sat on the covered patio, and it was loud but fun. Perfect casual, Saturday evening out ambience.
