I used to work near this café, so I was a frequent visitor for years. Since leaving that previous job, I hadn't been by in years, but I had an opportunity to stop in today. They're still incredible, the Morrocan biscuit is still delicious and satisfying and their Morrocan Pistachio latte blows Starbucks boring one out of the water. Always worth a stop in if you find yourself nearby!

The food and drinks here are SO GOOD! My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday and they gave her a free drink, which was really cool. Their egg salad sandwich is my absolute favorite.

I have so much love for this coffee shop and its staff. The pistachio latte is my favorite coffee drink ever. And the owner Carter is a super nice person. Ovation is such a lovely coffee shop!

I love this place in Portland, my favorite thing is to walk over here on sundays and drink a coffee with a scone! Scones are delicious, the best ones I have tried so far. Really well balanced the sugar. The staff in the place it's always so nice and the service it's so perfect. It's a nice place to sit inside and share a morning with your loved ones!

They deserve more reviews for discrimination. After 2 months of avoiding this place because the owner told me to sit outside due to my tics, I went to get a drink only to encounter the same request by their staff after 5 minutes of sitting there.

After 5 minutes of sitting there, you are crossing the RED line, dude.

Next time I will not leave and will wait for the cop to show up to then have an official record of this BS.

I like this place and am a repeat customer for almost 3 years. The staff are nice, food selection is well-priced and the coffee is decent. I'd only suggest more cleaning/bussing of tables and more consistent wifi. There's no bussing station so tables often have plates, cups, and crumbs on them because the staff get busy and don't notice or don't have time to clean them. (This place does get busy.) Also, the wifi often goes out. I understand that folks take up tables for hours and only get one thing. This is why I make sure I'm spending money at least ~$7/hr if I stay and work and never stay for more than a couple hours. In case the wifi thing is on purpose, I don't think it's wrong to have a sign to that effect if you don't want folks just buying a coffee and sitting for many hours. Otherwise, great place!

Screaming and profanities, nothing to see here.

We had a horrible visit at Ovation Coffee.

The fam was doing a mini coffee shop tour. We were seated having our drinks (which I'll detail below) for about 3 minutes, then a customer started screaming, he blurted out high pitched screams literally every few seconds. We thought he needed medical help....nope, apparently this is "normal" behavior. A few customers left, we were one of them of course, but most just sat there. How can ppl just sit there and pretend nothing was happening. It was a frightening and unnerving experience, as he sat only 5 feet from our table. The employees did nothing. Have the decency to refund every customer if you chose to take zero action and remove the perp from the business.

The 2 baristas seemed like sweet girls, but they unequivocally cannot make proper drinks. Our lattes tasted like milk, just milk. Zero espresso in the mochas as well.

It was a horrible experience, sitting for coffee only to be in a state of fear, not knowing if we were in danger and it was made worse by the fact that the employees did nothing.

Service is great but I haven’t had a great coffee here. Chais are sickly sweet AND topped with enough sugar to make a crème brulee. The matcha is not good. Regular drip is okay.
