They deserve more reviews for discrimination. After 2 months of avoiding this place because the owner told me to sit outside due to my tics, I went to get a drink only to encounter the same request by their staff after 5 minutes of sitting there.

After 5 minutes of sitting there, you are crossing the RED line, dude.

Next time I will not leave and will wait for the cop to show up to then have an official record of this BS.

I like this place and am a repeat customer for almost 3 years. The staff are nice, food selection is well-priced and the coffee is decent. I'd only suggest more cleaning/bussing of tables and more consistent wifi. There's no bussing station so tables often have plates, cups, and crumbs on them because the staff get busy and don't notice or don't have time to clean them. (This place does get busy.) Also, the wifi often goes out. I understand that folks take up tables for hours and only get one thing. This is why I make sure I'm spending money at least ~$7/hr if I stay and work and never stay for more than a couple hours. In case the wifi thing is on purpose, I don't think it's wrong to have a sign to that effect if you don't want folks just buying a coffee and sitting for many hours. Otherwise, great place!

Screaming and profanities, nothing to see here.

We had a horrible visit at Ovation Coffee.

The fam was doing a mini coffee shop tour. We were seated having our drinks (which I'll detail below) for about 3 minutes, then a customer started screaming, he blurted out high pitched screams literally every few seconds. We thought he needed medical help....nope, apparently this is "normal" behavior. A few customers left, we were one of them of course, but most just sat there. How can ppl just sit there and pretend nothing was happening. It was a frightening and unnerving experience, as he sat only 5 feet from our table. The employees did nothing. Have the decency to refund every customer if you chose to take zero action and remove the perp from the business.

The 2 baristas seemed like sweet girls, but they unequivocally cannot make proper drinks. Our lattes tasted like milk, just milk. Zero espresso in the mochas as well.

It was a horrible experience, sitting for coffee only to be in a state of fear, not knowing if we were in danger and it was made worse by the fact that the employees did nothing.

Service is great but I haven’t had a great coffee here. Chais are sickly sweet AND topped with enough sugar to make a crème brulee. The matcha is not good. Regular drip is okay.

Came in for a quick chat with the owner and was gifted a Moroccan hot chocolate. Probably the best hot chocolate I’ve had all year I will definitely be back

Great spiced coffee and a good variety of scones (that also aren't overly sweet). Also great lamb breakfast biscuits

I have only experienced the Americano and the cookies, both of which were excellent.

I used to buy the store's bagged coffee beans by package. However, the roast date on each bag has been taken out. I can't tell when the coffee was roasted, which is common and honest practice. No!! I won't buy any coffee beans package without any roast date labeled.

Coffee shop featuring Moroccan-inspired drinks. Great location by the Fields Park. The shop has big windows that let in light and offer pleasant views. The barista that took my order was very friendly and helpful with my questions.
I got a pumpkin chocolate scone and a Moroccan chai. Scone was good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Moroccan chai was cool - I think it was sprinkled with coarse sugar, which created a sort of crust on top of the foam, but the rest of the drink wasn't super sweet, and the spices were strong but smooth.
This was a good choice for something a little different.

UPDATED REVIEW 10.15.24: While everything I order here is always delicious, I did feel that I needed to update my Google review to reflect/highlight ONE issue..... The other day when I was getting my daily "Ovation Addiction" I couldn't help but notice the struggle that another customer was having. This particular (male) customer happened to be in a wheelchair and had a baby with them, and the baby needed a diaper change. So..... This is what I noticed: 1) The bathrooms seemed to barely be accessible to wheelchair users, as they are located in the back corner of the shop. 2) NEITHER bathroom had a changing table. 3) There appears to be at least one table "blocking" the access to the"Men's" bathroom. For the above listed reasons, I am changing my rating but the food, service and prices are still super wonderful!!!! AMAZING! Everything I try here is definitely perfect quality! The employees are always so kind and welcoming ! The prices are super affordable too!

This place was recommended to me so I gave it a try. Specifically the nus nus was recommended because of the flavor of the coffee and the spices. The coffee was fruity and dark but lacked anything of note to set it apart from just a cup of coffee. The drink was $4 for less than 6 oz. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The location is convenient for those living in the east Pearl but a bit of a hike for others. Parking is paid street parking, which was limited. I had high hopes for this place and may try them again some day.

This place was great. The staff very friendly and let me try a few samples before ordering. Very unique coffee experience. The food was very good. I recommend the nitro lemonade. I have never had anything like it before. The spices in a latte were a really cool touch. Great outdoor seating on a nice day by a beautiful park.

I had the pleasure of drinking a great coffee after a long walk there. The staff were very nice and helpful. You can also have snacks there. If you're in the area, you should definitely try it out.
