The owners son spends his time on the phone talking to his friend than serving customers. He just orders the help to do everything. They microwave their food, which is such a huge disappointment. There were B.B. size pieces of rock hard meat. The gyro needed salt and didn't have much flavor. The tomatoes weren't really ripe, but rather hard. For $13, it's just not worth it.
The employee behind the counter greeted us kindly as we walked in for our first time. We were unsure on what to order and the employee made some suggestions based on what we said we liked. The coffee was amazing and service was unforgettable. The dining area was clean and spacious and there was a lot of selection in terms of food. There was a soda fountain for drinks and they have that good ice. It was nice to have a great place to eat and drink while visiting Adventist.
Hey Maria Choy
Please know, you were not singled out. This is common behavior for the woman you are speaking of.
Tiny portions, ridiculous prices. Supposed to close at 330 and employees speaking loudly at 230 about how they want to lock the doors and go home, vocally annoyed at people coming in. Cashier saying that he has to go home early because his mom owns the place and she has to prep for Monday (it’s Friday)???
The menu creator and owner of this place has no knowledge or pride in his food. Gyro (Greek) shawarma (Lebanese) like myself. I’m a cook I’ve worked catering Turkish and Saudi’s airlines. I also worked for a Greek restaurant and catered many Greek menus. The portions are tiny. The prices are not cohesive with the portions, but look good on the menu. When I addressed the difference between Shawarma and gyro with the owner himself he told me that every single meat is marinated in the exact same marinade and there’s no difference between Shawarma flavors and gyro flavors. If you’re gonna promote a menu, you should know the difference in spice that set the items apart. I would be ashamed and frankly embarrassed to serve this one flavor wonder
I've popped in here for a few years. My husband had a major heart attack and goes to rehab there. I politely asked a question if the woman knows the sodium content of the gyros meat. She didn't know and that was fine with me I will google it. I asked how many ounces is served. I feel like nutritional content questions should be seen as normal in a hospital.
She was extremely irritated by my two questions. She was rude, hostile, and short tempered despite me maintaining politeness. I let it slide because I thought it was just her personality, maybe cultural difference, maybe she was having a bad day. I still tipped because I try to treat people right. However, she was immediately friendly and warm to the next four customers after me. I was honestly shocked in the difference of treatment they received compared to mine.
I have no idea why she singled me out to be her emotional punching bag. My family won't spend another dollar there.
I have never wrote a bad review before about service.

I stopped in here to get something in my way out of the building, and ended up staying for an hour. The food was wonderful, as well as the service from the staff directly. I got a sandwich as well as home made tabouli, that was fresh and light. The prices are also great. I will be back!

These wonderful people always treat me like family. Reasonable, kind and the food is always what I expect: wholesome and most of it is made in-house. Delicious!

Always a treat to come here when I have a lab or ct scan for Adventist Health across the street as a patient. It’s like a field trip like, “Ooh I get to go to Ozzie’s!” Today I got the chicken shawarma wrap sooo tasty and I love the selection of imported tea biscuits, nougats and candies I live to treat my women’s group to. Last but not least, Ozzie is so friendly every visit! Is that guy Ozzie? Always tip 20%. ?

Really good gyros for breakfast, lunch and dinner while at the Adventist hospital. Their brownie also went down well with a mocha.
