This place is such a pleasant atmosphere. Cute little place with a real pride in its PNW heritage . The locals are so comfortable drinking good coffee and relaxing in the chairs and reading . The breakfast items are tasty and the baristas are so friendly and easy going! I’ll be back next weekend

Their Mexican mochas are the BEST. It has a very cool neighborly vibe. Definitely not a Starbucks, thank God, haha. The folks who work there are super nice. Just an all-around very cool energy inside. A place to ENJOY a cup of coffee.

Bright, spacious, with plenty of indoor seating and a few outdoor benches. Located on one corner of the Safeway parking lot in the Woodstock neighborhood, so lots of parking space, plus free street parking nearby. Open daily until 7 PM.

Friendly, helpful service. They use Italian dark roasted beans with no acidity, which I personally prefer. Didn’t have a specific craving, so I went with a 12oz iced latte with oat milk (likely 2 shots), $5.95. It was smooth with a nice separation between espresso and milk, so you can mix it or sip it your way. Self-serve water station available.

They also have individually wrapped bagel sandwiches in the case, options with sausage, ham, egg, bacon, and cheese, priced $5.50–$6.75, along with other snacks.

Restroom: One-stall, gender-neutral. Clean, no code needed, toilet seat covers provided. Bulletin board just outside the door. They also have separate bins for trash and recycling, a small detail, but appreciated.

Nice guys but if you buy something to go know that they will put all the ingredients in a bag and hand it to you. I ordered a bagel with lox and CC and when I got to my destination all the ingredients were in separate plastic containers. All cold from the fridge. I had to try to spread my cold, hard cream cheese with a cheap plastic fork in my car in the parking lot, instead of simply being able to pull my TO GO bagel out of the bag and eat it on the way to work. Next time I’ll buy the separate ingredients myself, as long as I’m the o e making the breakfast. I could’ve gone next door to Safeway and get a bunch of items in a bag.

Great coffee, friendly staff, good cafe to hang out in. Papacinos is a neighborhood staple.

Love the vibe of the shop, but the latte I got was just not that good. Burnt, bitter. It's that hot brown, it'll get ya going, but it's not a place I would frequent.

I just left this coffee shop because of a crazy rude barista behind the counter who decided to stop me and my young three daughters as we were using the restroom. My husband was outside sitting with our dog and my daughters and I were using the restroom to wash our hands. She went out of her way to tell me that this restroom is only for customers and she sees what we are doing here. What are we doing here?? Washing our hands before we enjoy drinks and food? She must be used to the slums of Portland and doesn’t recognize a nice family wanting to wash up before eating. We decided to walk a little further and give our $24 plus tip at more welcoming coffee shop down the street called harder day coffee company. You should try that place instead of dirty papacinos.

Best coffee shop in town. My parents have been coming here since 1993 and I have fond childhood memories here. I started coming daily in 2018 and I'm here almost every single day. As far as the coffee goes, sometimes the line is long and sometimes drinks don't come out super fast, but the coffee *I* think is the best in the city. They use a Seattle brand, Cafe D'Arte, which I'm sure plays a role in that. Ian, the manager, is just a fantastic human being, as are all the staff at the shop. I've come to be friends with them, and hung out with most of them outside of work at this point. The people who go here are just as nice and I've made friends with a lot of regulars over the years too. I often run into my neighbors here. The shop itself is one of the few I've seen these days that's kept its bohemianesque early-2000s aesthetic and I find it incredibly cozy and homey. If they remodeled to be chic and white I'd be devastated at this point. By far one of my favorite places to be. Great place to get work done, too, with wifi and plugs and great music.

My wife and I come here often with our kids, and absolutely love the place. The guys behind the counter are awesome and so nice. The coffee is great, breakfast sandwiches are so incredibly on point, and our kids LOVE the cereal bar. We are so fortunate to have a place like this in the neighborhood!
