Solid drinks at reasonable prices. Great smash burger—I got it on happy hour so it was only $6 or 7$. Chill vibes. Only one TV if you’re looking for sports, but otherwise fun activities and a good outdoor space.

Paymaster is easily the best bar in NW Portland. The service is quick and efficient, the staff is very hospitable and kind. The food is great and the bartenders treat you like family. Highly recommend 10/10.

The burgers fall flat and the man bun bartender in the back was extremely rude and made us highly disappointed after wanting to find a new neighborhood hand out. I understand wanting to leave but it was 10:30 and you close at 12. Decor was the only good part.

Service is Portland okay. Atmosphere likewise is okay. Place seems clean. Now as for their $13 B.L.A.T., this was the worse sandwich I've ever purchased in my life! And I'm including AM\PM and 7 ELEVEn. Plain white sandwich bread, not even toasted( fell apart). No more than 2 slices of bacon. Minuscule amount of avocado. The sandwich was worth $4 tops! Hard pass on food here would be my advice!

Do yourself a favor and get over to Paymaster. The drinks are great, service (and kidness) go along way and the food is amazing. The cook even checked in on us after I told her I have an allergy- Riley?? Burgers are a great combo of nothing you've ever tried and you'll be like me and WANT to write a review because it was that good. Dogs are allowed on the back patio which gives Paymaster double thumbs up.
