Tried this place today for the first time. I have been trying (without success) to find a legit cheesesteak / hoagie place in Portland. Awesome. 10 out of 10. Yay. Meat was great. Bread was great. Beer was good while I waited.
Not as good as I remember. Cost more for less meat now adays. Used to go on Mondays (over 25 times) but last time I went the 1/2off deal due to staff shortage was not available. Bummer. I used to go there before the brewery was added behind it. Sometimes smaller is better.?$Place is really nice, bread is the best, just need a little more meat like the ol days! Oh, and go Eagles!!!!
I lived and worked in Philly for a few years and I gotta say these cheesesteaks are legit.Order ahead online if you can. They're usually way busier than they look. Great takeout option, really.They've got some great beers on tap. I'm a big fan of the Brown Porter and Jefferson IPA.
