Best philly's in Portland. Been coming here for 10 years now. This stuff is chow!
I've been eating Philly cheesesteak sandwiches for over 50 years all around the country. This is the best I've had. The rib eye meat & onions are plentiful but it's the cheese- swiss american. For me, it just tastes better than cream cheese, provalone..... Highly recommend.
Love that they've been here forever and the quality is still great!

Philadelphia's Steaks & Hoagies offers a classic cheesesteak with peppers and onions, served on soft buns. Customers recommend trying it with American cheese if not a fan of IPAs. The quantity of meat justifies the slightly higher price compared to other places. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has maintained its quality since the 1990s, making it a favorite spot for those looking for an authentic and delicious cheesesteak experience.
The pleasant dining room features big windows and classic rock at the right volume for conversation. Guests order and pay at the counter, and meals are delivered to the table. The restaurant smells of good food, and the Philly Cheese Steak tastes great, even when served on a bed of lettuce for those avoiding carbs. With great food, good beer, and happy servers, it’s the best in town—far better than food carts. Many loyal customers, including locals since '99, keep coming back. The owners are fantastic, adding to the place’s lasting appeal.
