Food and service were both top notch. Tables are a bit close together but nothing serious, and the decor inside is beautiful and well curated, with a moody vibe and plants.

Beautiful lunch starting with shared Tao Huu Tod (fried tofu with mushroom powder). The Yum Pak kale salad with shrimp is a delicious combination of sweet, savory, crunchy, chewy. Attentive professional service. The music is moderately loud in this snug space making conversation a little challenging when the restaurant is full.

Best Thai I’ve had in pdx by far. 55555 cocktail would be worth breaking 20 years of sobriety for
We sat and the caboose and it was so freakin cute in there and such a vibe. The tom yum was so lovely on a rainy night and the massaman curry flavor was so good I poured the rest of the rice into the sauce after all the chicken was gone! Def make a reservation for the caboose. For starters the pickled plate was pretty good, the cauliflower was the best part.

There was some nice outdoor seating, but it was way too hot, so we opted for indoors. The fried potatoes were amazing — perfectly crispy with a really tasty sauce. The chilled tofu was fine — super soft, almost melt-in-your-mouth, with a nice spicy kick. The curry noodles were delicious too. The Parasol cocktail, though… probably the highest ice-to-drink ratio I’ve seen in a while.

OK, I wanted to dine here two times before writing a review. I left feeling very underwhelmed on both visits. The food candidly is average at best and lacks any real authentic Thai flavor complexity. Servings are small, but they’re not overpriced. I’ve tried various dishes from curry to noodles, vegetables, and nearly all of the appetizers. Again, very underwhelming as I feel there are much better options for Thai food throughout the city and suburbs. I just cannot understand the hype and over enthusiastic reviews. The food simply does not warrant them.

The food was fantastic. The only criticism I have is that we were seated outside (by request). As we enjoyed our meal, a food delivery person was told to wait outside, right next to our table, for his pickup order. He then proceeded to make a loud, public FaceTime within 15” from where we were seated. He was on this call for at least ten minutes with multiple staff seemingly fine w the disruption, much to the chagrin of the guests. I couldn’t take it any longer and was forced to confront him myself and kindly ask him to take his call elsewhere.

Excellent flavors! Yum! We had the pickel plate, spring peas, waygu steak, and Massaman curry. Amazing!
We just stopped in to get a few small bites. Turned into a great decision. We got the chilled tofu that honestly wasn't sure how that was going to be. The bartender assured us it was good and it was really good, a bit spicy and refreshing. The Pad Pak was also exceptional. The perfectly cooked beans was a treat , with just enough char. We also had some potatoes that where glazed with a curry sauce and was also a hit. These were all vegetarian options. The beans are normally cooked in an oyster sauce but are a available as a veg option.
Going back to try dinner soon. Very good.
