This food cart pod is I am really intimately so it doesn’t feel as open as most food cards in Portland. There’s undercover seating which was very quaint. The selection of food carts was great. I chose the barbecue cart and ordered the three meat dinner with macaroni cheese and potato salad. My three meats were ribs, beef, brisket, and chicken thigh. My mother ordered shrimp and fish from the fish dude in the back. I had a bite of each, and dang it was delicious. I was so impressed, I took a picture of her food. It was pretty expensive though. A bit over $30, but so good.
Unfortunately we went on a day when the temperature was near 100 degrees and all but two food trucks were closed at dinner time. I guess it didn’t pay to be open but certainly didn’t provide the food pod experience we hoped for. The food we got was ok barbecue and teriyaki chicken and the people working were nice.
