By FAR the best gluten-free pizza I've found in Portland!

I've been on a quest to find good GF pizza since a recent health diagnosis made it a necessity, and not only is their crust leaps and bounds above every other place I've tried, but it also comes in a full 15" pie, available with a garlic cream sauce (I also have a tomato allergy ?), and is some of the best pizza I've found here, GF or not. I ordered for the second time tonight to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and adding feta this time, it was even better than the last time.

This place will absolutely be my go-to from here on out!

Hey Anton,
Pizza Nostra has been my go to pizza for at least ten years. We used to live within walking distance of the Fremont location. It was love at first taste. Sadly we moved away from the location, but that didn’t stop me from using Uber eats to get my fix. The Combination has always been my favorite and I probably no joke order it at least once every week and a half. I have also made several orders for co-worker “Dinners” and everybody has always been very impressed.

Fast forward to probably the last six to seven orders I’ve made have seemed off. Pretty consistently the crust has seemed chewy. The most recent order on October 10th was burnt, chewy and had onion scraps and skins all over the pizza. My wife also orders the Stromboli (she’s not a super fan like I am, but is forced to eat Nostra frequently) which she was also disappointed in. She mentioned how sometimes it’s amazing…. Other times it’s lacking in filling, the crust is dry and it was smaller than usual

I say this with a lot of love and am not trying to be rude at all, but something has happened. I won’t pretend to know the inner workings of what you have going on and maybe you’re not even at that location anymore. Maybe an employee, or someone making the pizza is just not loving it. Again not trying to be rude, but the pizza has changed and not for the better. It’s almost like quality control has slipped slightly. All I want to say is I loved your pizza so much. I love all types of pizza, but if I had a choice…. It was always Pizza Nostra… ALWAYS. It kills me to give this even a 3 star rating, but honestly with the current quality, it should probably be lower, which breaks my heart.

This long review will probably make readers think I’m crazy, but this is how good the pizza was. I’m not just a fanboy either as every time I would buy it for work, or football parties or what not, people always expressed how good it was.

I love what you did Anton. It was amazing. It just hasn’t been amazing recently and that’s been pretty consistent.

Much respect,

Evan

Ugh. Just moved here from the East Coast & was looking for no-nonsense, pizzeria pizza in my neighborhood, regrettably this wasn't it. Our pepperoni pizza would have been decent, if not for being overdone & dried out. I'd rather go with a much more reasonably priced pie from Costco or Little Caesars if I want mediocre pizza. Too bad ... What is with the $30 pizzas in Portland? As a Neapolitan paisano that grew up on NYC pizza, I gotta say -- pizza is just NOT a $30 item. Fullstop. "Not approved!"

I don't understand a business that says the kitchen is closed at 8:35 when they supposedly close at 9:30??

The pizza place that makes sense. Fast thin crust slices with a soda for a very reasonable price. Friendly service and chill space, even has outside seating as well as good old fashioned counter with stools. Pizza here may be 4.5 stars tbh but I gave it 5 as pizza is mighty fine when it’s simply pizza with no hassle

I order a pizza from this place every week and for the past month the quality has been going downhill.

Great crust, crispy on the outside/bottom and fluffy on the inside

Dude could have acted like he wanted to be there. Complained when we took longer that 12 seconds to order, slammed his machine twice. Used head shake as a form of communication instead of his voice. Changing the size of the pizza put him in a bad mood especially crazy because we hadn't even paid or fully ordered. Bro we were the only ones in there, chill.

Bought a fresh pizza and it tasted worse than reheated pizza the next day. If you’re in the neighborhood, just go to Reeva’
