They were supposed to be open... I drove across town only to find that they were closed. No note on the door, just complete disregard for my time.

Great spot and great selection of wines! The owner Laraung is great and the bartender Caroline that is sometimes there is so fabulous!
Love this spot! Owner is always accommodating to our pup! AMAZING wine selection, and a great rotating local beer selection. Sometimes the overflow from surrounding businesses makes it's way into their FANTASTIC outdoor seating, which is a great way to grab some food and enjoy some delicious wine from their selection. (Pro tip, grab a bottle and enjoy yourself, life's too short!)
Horrific communication skills, the owner, Laurent Albouze, yelled at us (a family with a preschooler) to move NOW! Because we had sat in the wrong area eating dinner when they hadn’t even been open. Do not recommend. Our daughter was terrified. There is no signage letting patrons knows each space has different rules. And clearly the many 1 star reviews agree with my assessment. Owner is an absolute disaster. Go somewhere else.
Owner is not friendly see all 1 star reviews . Avoid this place. I feel sorry for the good business around him. Bad neighbor. Not respectful. Not friendly. If you’re going to be such a psycho path about non patrons sitting in your precious empty seats maybe put up signs. I absolutely regret purchasing from the business. Beware. Reviews are right.
Love love love love this place! Best wine and beer selection in North Portland! Super knowledgeable owner who helps you pick your perfect glass! 10/10 would recommend!
Absolutely amazing selection of beers and wines and always a wonderful attentive owner who educates and explores flavors with his customers! My husband and I come here often!
Clearly the insolent person who hung up in my face; perhaps the owner; is not versed in the art of customer service. This place will never get my business. If you care for story time, read this: I called the # listed on Prospect’s website (Oregon #) to inquire about a specific beer & to see if they carried it. No one answered. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that I had a missed call from a California #. I returned the call and unbeknownst to me; the jackass who works at this establishment answers the phone and rudely asks why am I calling. I didn’t call a California #; so already, we are off on the wrong footing. He never so much hinted that I called Prospect Bar. Even after asking what establishment does he work for, he avoids the ? by asking me who do I work for…He then tries to lecture me after I was honestly attempting to understand how I could have called him. I hang up; becoz I’m not arguing with a stranger. I called the number again listed online for Prospect to see if it’s the same guy and lo & behold… the degenerate answers; recognizes my voice and says that I was rude for hanging up in his face (again, never disclosing who he works for - although it’s clear at this point) and as retaliation; hangs up in my face…I’ve never stepped foot inside this place and judging from my interaction over the phone, it’s trash. Avoid grumpy old men like the plague.

Super friendly and welcoming!
Love this cozy neighborhood spot! The owners are super friendly and we love that we can bring along our littles for a chill happy hour and order dinner from a handful of delicious restaurants (Hat Yai will even walk your order over). Great selection of wine and a few beers/cider on tap too. Definitely recommend!
bartender literally yelled at us for sitting at one of their tables after ordering food at a neighboring restaurant, then insulted me after i apologized and suggested adding signs to their tables
Really nice owner, great spot for orange natty wine on the patio. Chill space. So lovely on a nice night. Glasses range from $14-17 when I was there and I think beers were around $8. Great bottle selection too.
The owner is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about beers and wines. Easy to strike up a conversation with and is very accommodating. We brought our dog in with us and he brought out a doggy bed and water for him. Will definitely stop by again when we come back to Portland.
