Well, there is just nothing to warm your soul after a long work week than an evening at Prost. Sharing a lovely pretzel and a pint of beer you havent tried before because you told the sweet gal behind the bar you didnt know what you wanted but something warm and nutty sounded nice, but best of all the kind and inviting atmosphere created not only by the warmth of the wood fixtures and space heaters but mostly by the staff and lovely people who are drawn to the space.
PSA: Yes you will come across the ocassional obnoxious table of 30 something white women who leave all their trash and trays with no regard of how to behave in public, this will not be frequent. If you can shame through politely reminding them they forgot half a burrito and should clean up their table, the onlookers will cheer as if you preserve the sanctity of the patio.
A good time for all is to be had (i write as I sip Hofbräu wearing a smug smile)

Very nice food court where you can get several different types of food while sipping German or local beers. We stayed at the pub for drink the beers and brought the Mexican food to it, as it is allowed to bring food from one place to another. There were heaters and a fire so it is also comfortable on cold days.

One of my favorite spots on Mississippi thanks to the great selection of food carts that you are able to bring into Prost as well. Prost had plenty of beer and full stock bar. There is also Bloodbuzz serving up great cocktails outbthe back patio. My favorite food carts are Mole Mole, Desipdx, and Matt's BBQ. Parking can be difficult on weekends so plan to park a few blocks away.

Came here on an extremely busy Friday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’m about 8 months pregnant and with the summer heat I’ve been wanting lemonade. But like, the sour, fresh, ice cold kind. Not expecting more than something out of the soda gun, I waddled my way to the bar asking for one, and my expectations were exceeded!! The bartender keeps the lemon juice and simple syrup separate, mixing them in a cocktail shaker, so the lemonade is frothy and ice cold when you get it. It was PERFECTION. He even put a little lemon garnish on the glass. It made me feel like I had a fancy cocktail, satisfied my lemonade cravings, and was absolutely delicious!!! Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about it. The Prost lemonade may be my new pregnancy craving!
I also am constantly having to pee at this stage. On my way to the restroom, I discovered a line of about 7 dudes waiting for it. One of the employees was in line, and while offering me an alternative location to relieve myself, someone exited the bathroom. The employee and every patron in line all unanimously and enthusiastically encouraged me to go ahead of them!! They did not have to offer this and I can’t say how appreciative I was. I’m so grateful for their kindness. For such a busy place, the restrooms were in good shape and clean!

I dropped in from out of town and was able to walk over from the yellow line. Spent an afternoon reading and enjoying delicious beer in the sunny biergarten. The German food was solid, not spectacular (would have loved some spätzle). Friends dropped by later and we also enjoyed having the BBQ food truck parked near by. Friendly service and great atmosphere.
