Her ice cream is hands down the best I've ever tasted, plant-based or otherwise. The rich, creamy texture and complex flavors prove that innovation born from inclusivity often leads to the most remarkable results. Each of Mary's options are a mastery of 'alternative' ingredients that honor both dietary needs and pure indulgence.

The posted hours aren’t accurate. I drove 30 minutes hoping to try out some vegan soft serve (which the city needs more of!) and the person working the stand seemed annoyed that I was there on a 2 pm while they were still setting up, even though Google and social media has their hours for Saturday starting at 1pm. I only ask to post accurate hours :) I waited around for a bit and it was obvious it wasn’t near being open (I saw them turn on the soft serve machine right at 2pm, and that takes a while to get cold). Ice cream looks great, but you might want to call ahead to make sure they’re open! Especially if you’re driving.

Wow! This ice cream is Vegan and Gluten Free but tastes so good my husband who can have dairy and gluten prefers it over the others. I love it so much I go as often as I can. Mary is generous, kind, passionate and creative. I’m so thankful to live so close and recommend everyone to try it.

I love the unique flavors - we tried the mocha flavor, the cookie dough, and this sunbutter/marionberry flavor. Everything was delicious and so unique. They truly seem to care about the community and put love into everything they make. I always try to snag marionberry everything when I come to Portland, and I think this ice cream was the perfect use of those delectable berries! Bonus pro tip - get chocolate hard shell on top !!

Unfortunately this is the worst ice cream I've ever had. The flavor I got tastedlike a bowl of blended dates.

The scoops are amazing. I went for the first time today and got the date caramel and the jet black coffee. It’s delicious. I ate it too quickly for a picture.

Ramblin' Rose is great. There are hilarious bumper stickers to keep me entertained while I wait. The ice cream doesn't put me in a sugar coma after scarfing down, and the sweetness level is perfect. The flavors are unique. What more could you ask for? I'll be back! 😎

RR has the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s not overly sweet and the flavor combos and texture are always so good!!

It’s conveniently located in the lot behind and connected to The Bye n Bye.

Literally my favorite ice cream in all of Portland. Mary puts so much love into every pint of ice cream. The flavors so complex & I can NEVER get enough. It is seriously THE BEST!!! 11/10

I was so excited to visit them as I’ve been following them on instagram for a little while and just moved here. First impressions: staff was not friendly AT ALL. Very much a “what do you want? Ok, here, now leave” Vibe. Really disappointed.
