My float was less floaty than I would have preferred, but perhaps foam hid that from the maker but settled by the time I made it to my seat where I first inspected my treat. It was flavorful. Owner seems passionate.

I was so excited to find a vegan ice cream place within walking distance of my place. Incredibly nice person running the cart as well as delightful ice cream. Try this place out!

I stumbled across the Ramblin’ Rose when I was riding back to the Southeast part of town - stopped in for an after-dinner treat. I got the Cherry Garcia - a vegan rendition of the Ben & Jerry’s favorite, with a Portland twist. I really liked it - the flavors were right, cherry-forward and chunky. I wanted to come back for the coconut date flavor but alas, there was too much going during my time in Portland!

Friendly delicious and a normal serving no too big and not to small.

I got the Oregon float with Marionberry soda, vanilla soft serve, roses, and fir sugar. Yummy! Only didn’t enjoy pulling the fir? Pine? needles out of my mouth

RR is the best vegan ice cream I’ve had in over 30 years. Mary’s flavors are SO INCREDIBLE. Plus you can bring your score into the Bye n Bye and hang out w drinks or after you eat. Updated from previous review on 2024-09-08

Grateful Dead vibey vegan ice cream cart with delicious soft serve as well as scoops. Creative flavors like date coconut and hibiscus marionberry with lime curd... Choose from toppings like lavender or rose petals or pistachio magic shell. I've also had the rose float... Oh. My. G*d. This is a don't miss place for any ice cream lover or desert-loving vegan.

I loved this place when it was over on Northeast 42nd. I'm so excited it's even closer to me now.

What a hidden gem! I love ice cream and I'm not vegan. This is some of the best ice cream I have had! You can tell the owner puts a lot of care and intention in to it all. Lots of really cool flavors and toppings. Cherry Garcia with Oregon cherries and chocolate is my favorite so far! I went for the first time yesterday and was back again today. Highly recommend!!

The funnest ice cream truck in Portland. Grateful Dead vibes (hence the name) with the most delicious ice cream flavors. All vegan, a couple are refined sugar free (Date Cardamom is incredible!), mostly serve hard ice cream but have soft serve too with cool toppings like rose petals & puffed quinoa. There’s also floats and fun sundaes. Highly recommend, a must in Portland.

Best Marionberry ice cream I've ever had. The best Marionberry shortbread I have ever eaten.

Hands down the best vegan ice cream I have ever had! I had two flavors of the hard packed ice cream. Both were amazingly creamy, bursting with fresh flavors. The texture was spot on. I only wish I had this close to my home. But then again, it would be an addiction for me. Whether or not you are vegan you need to try this!
