Came here after shopping in downtown Portland, the place is conveniently located and close to Muji which is where I was shopping with my friends. The interior provides a good ambience and we thought it would be very pricy, but turned out to be a great spot for a nice dinner at a reasonable price. Red star is a wonderful experience! We wanted an elevated meal, and came to the right place. We had shigoku oysters, the hanger steak special (cooked perfectly medium rare), the carrots and fries as a side to the steak. Our friends had the chicken and we watched them fight about the last bite!
