It the Lents neighborhood we are faced with many challenges. That said, I always feel very safe and welcome here. My mother enjoys coming here with me and always remarks on the friendly service. The food is very good here and they serve several soups at all times, year round which I appreciate. There are some very pleasent regulars and long term service staff that is worth coming to experience as well. This is one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast and lunch at all hours. If you like sports, this is a great place to frequent. The 3 stars for atmosphere is due to the neighborhood as well as the aging building. Otherwise it's one of my favorite, dive bars. I eat several meals here most weeks.

It was great went to play video poker and the worker didn't even bother me once to pester me about wanting drinks and distract me from losing $235.00 in less than 17 minutes. To the untrained eye it seems like I am financially irresponsible but to every irritated bar patron that's me rapid fire slap jamming buttons on the ol video poker machine ... Plus it's my unemployment stimulus to invest.
Seriously bartender was great didn't even bother asking me anything at all cause he knew I wasn't there for him..

Great food and best drinks around! This has been my go-to establishment since I turned 21, almost 14 years ago. They are so amazing because of their experience. Red's has been going strong in the restaurant industry since the 90's! I've been to almost every bar in the SE area and this place is by far the best! It is always clean and the staff is welcoming and accommodating!

Very local neighborhood bar and grill, patrons and staff are all friendly, classic Americana bar fare. Literally no vegetables on the menu tho lol.

There are so many better places in the neighborhood. Ordered a club sandwich and 45 minutes later left hungry because I had to get back to work. We have been trying to make this place a regular stop on our lunch itinerary but every single time they screw up and we regret coming here. Weird staff, loud bad dad rock, expensive and slow service. Never again.
