Did I do it wrong? Everyone told me it was the best fried chicken in Portland but it was greasy and flavorless. Was I supposed to wait a half hour for it to cool down? Nice bar, and I sure wanted to like it.
Small dive bar with great chicken and jojos. The chicken and jojos was very affordable. Lots of chicken and tasty potato wedges. Offered plenty of sauces to go with. I choose buffalo, ranch, and honey mustard. Be warned it takes time. The bartender was the one making the chicken so be chill, grab a beer while you wait. Totally worth it.
We got lucky and caught them when they weren't insanely busy the first time we tried their chicken. Go for the thighs! The juiciest chicken we've ever had.
