I haven't been in Renner's since the 90's We stopped in after Christmas shopping for a late breakfast. It was wonderful. My eggs Benedict were superb as was my husband's Biscuits and gravy spectacular dish was delightful. The vibe in there is super cool. We will definitely be back as we spend a fair amount of time in Portland. We live at the Oregon coast.

Rude and slow. If you don't want me here I won't come back. But you have made it clear you don't care about the customer. After the 3rd chance and 3 bad experiences. The owner? was rude. Sorry to bother you to give me the food cooling in the window. Bartender was nice but overwhelmed.

Not great. Took 30 minutes for anyone to ask me if I needed anything. After another 30 minutes they said they were out of the cheese for my burger. I said any cheese would do. Finally, after another 10 minutes I got a severely burnt burger. Pretty much inedible. At least I never have to go back there.

Forget Fat City and do yourself a treat and come to Renners. This Portland classic serves genuine home-cooked breakfast that doesn’t taste like Denny’s.
It's tight quarters, dog friendly and local. But gives a super cool local vibe. We got great service, but the place was empty. I would wonder what would happen had it been crowded. I would go back though!
