Food was better than I was expecting, though unsurprisingly the curry is very VERY mild. Lots of consoles to choose from and tons of cool classic games, good spot to chill for the evening.

Small menu but a lot of really good, not typically bar food. There are stations by most booths for retro consoles along with some classic arcade cabinets throughout. Impressive console game collection available. Staff were very friendly and

This place blew me away! Service was amazing, the bartender was super helpful and very friendly, the gentleman who rans the games was also very helpful. The food was top notch, we got the Golden fries 64, and they were delicious, we also got many of the custom cocktails all were appropriately named and taste amazing. The games was mind blowing we played everything from golden eye 64 to new games like tekken 8 the selection was mind blowing. I recommended this place 10/10

The ambiance is of course interesting, that's probably how you heard of the place. Each table has a couple consoles (typically 2) attached to it (tables are first come first serve). They have a huge library of games, you just ask for one at a time. They probably have whatever you played as a kid. They bring out the controllers. You order and coordinate everything at the bar.I was especially impressed with the food and drink. The food is reasonably priced ($10-$15), reasonably healthy (bowls with rice, topping, protein and such), and tasted fantastic. The pulled pork added to a bowl tasted better than the fried chicken (which was also good) although it doesn't present as well. The drinks are priced normally and have the full range you've come to expect in Portland (everything from classic american brews ~$3 to fancy theme appropriate cocktails ~$12). They even have alcohol free cocktails (~$6).The people working behind the bar were nice, friendly, knowledgeable about games (freely giving opinions on which mario kart or mario party version was the best).I'd recommend this place whether you were into gaming or not. I think it shines for a small social gathering (2-4 people). Makes for a great date night. Pretty cheap entertainment (gaming is ~$7 flat fee per person). They run specials. This place is a solid 5. I could imagine it being hard to get a table/game console on a busy night (friday/saturday), but not my experience.Vegetarian options: You could just not add protein to several of the bowlsDietary restrictions: This is the kind of place where you could ask for anythingParking: The parking is one of those barely paved lots on the side of the place but there's plenty of parking off street.

If you go as one or two people, this is freaking great! If you plan to go as a group (4 or more), it's a little more complicating with getting the right seat to accommodate you if you want a multi player game with more than 2 people. The vibe was awesome. The drinks were great. We only had appetizers for food, but the ones we had were delicious!

The food was great (albeit the curry I got was a bit spicier than anticipated, the bartender even confirmed it), the drinks were great, the gaming was great. I enjoyed seeing all the retro stuff displayed around the bar and that anywhere you sat, you could play a game. We went on a Friday night and they even had a live DJ spinning records - it was pretty freaking cool.I didn't enjoy the loud, rambunctious guys playing Smash Bros, but it's just part of the atmosphere/territory I suppose. That being said, I would still definitely go back, even if just for the food!

Come early and grab a table. Ask the friendly staff to help you pick out games. I was playing classic games, and asked for a good co-op game. They recommended Super Mario bros Wonder, which came out pretty recently! Had a amazing time with my family.Absolutely a amazing time!

This place is amazing! They make great drinks and have delightful food. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a really great first date spot if you love video games - and even if you don't! They have all the classics.

Atmosphere was cramped and very loud, staff were always in a rush and had no qualms about pushing their way right past you but it was Saturday and they were working hard. I wouldn't recommend this place for a group larger than five or so, maybe on a weekday when it's less crowded. Overall it's a fun bar that offers a unique experience and a wide variety of games, even if half of the groups were all getting down on some Mario Party.
