This is a neat little place that I found with my mother, several years ago now. The bartenders have always been cool and we like the crowd there. This particular visit was different in that there was reports of a gunman a few blocks down the street. My husband and I were in the area specifically on our way to Rose and Thisle. The police had the intersection blocked at the corner blocked off but allowed us through. The door was locked due to the threat but the bartender welcomed us in to wait out the trouble outside. We had some drinks and won some money.

Positive: BIG covered outdoor area and the best scotched egg I've had in a long time. The look of the other traditional fare makes me want to to ha back and work my way through the menu. Bar area feels kind of claustrophobic, with dark paneling and low ceilings but it is an architectural thing so it's not really a problem, just noting it for tall folks.

dice bar with insanely good food! Food was well seasoned and comes in large portions. Jerk chicken skewers, fish and chips, and scotch eggs were all delicious

Great vibes, awesome staff, nice outdoor space
Who knows about the food. I stood at the bar, waiting to find out if I needed to order food at the bar. Two bartenders didn't make eye contact or acknowledge my presence.
Was looking forward to Scottish eggs and Korean BBQ wings, but I guess not.
