One of my fave go to bars to just hang out at! They have a weekly trivia as well that’s always super fun (Mondays) and the vibe overall is super chill and cozy. The outdoor patio is my favorite during the winter since it’s heated!

This has aleays been my go to comfort place to drink, meet friends, and get a late night bite! I have been coming here since 2007 and there food rivals high dollar restaurants. Marty has always made this my goto for great food, friendly people and a great relaxing place to meet my friends (amazing patio). Jame and Ryan are also amazing ? ? ❤️ ♥️ ?. I love this place! On a side note, my wife loves this place too, and has been coming here since 2010 where we meet. I'd your in the area, try it!

It's been quite a while since I've been to Rose & Thistle. It definitely has changed a lot & not necessarily for the better.I used to love the atmosphere, but besides the Scottish memorabilia on the walls, there's not much of the atmosphere left.Orders were wrong (though one of us was ok w/their BLT). They used to be known for their fish & chips, but what was served tonight wasn't pleasant & there was only one option.The front area is all poker games now, ordering done at the bar, no real table service.As I was told, "it's a bar on a Sat night," still I miss what it used to be & what made it special. It's not special anymore.

I've been going to the rose and thistle for at least 8 years now. The food is delicious, they often have a daily special that is really good. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and the regulars are fun to hang out with. Would highly recommend this for hanging out with friends or just a casual meal. They even have bingo and trivia nights.

I have been coming to this bar for over a decade. The staff are amazing, not only do they do their jobs well, they cultivate a locals space getting to know their regulars. The back of house (kitchen) also do a great job, when in doubt check out their specials board next to the beer list, all the food is good but someone made that soup/Mac or other special just for you to try. There is a reason people leave the neighborhood but still comeback here, it is a great neighborhood bar!
