Great food, fresh and the portions are amazing. Restaurant is very clean and seating is comfortable even when it’s at peak with all the tables full. Will definitely go again for more delicious sushi.
Amazing food for the value! 1000/10

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Not fancy. There's always a line. It's always good.
AWESOME HUGE sushi - beautifully presented always fresh the restaurant is such a local gem. Be prepared to put your name on the clipboard then wait outside and COME HUNGRY! Our family favorite

New favorite sushi place! Incredible prices on high quality sashimi and giant rolls. Service is kind and attentive. Definitely worth the wait on busy days.
I love Saburos, there are fair knocks against it but I would say it shines in fish quality, at least for Portland. Raw fish (not counting salmon) in this town is awful. I’ve had people swear they were taking me to the best sushi place ever and we drop $100 each for some of the most mid sushi I’ve ever had.
When I go usually only get Nigiri and the fish quality comes through.
I grew up in Hawaii when I go home I eat nothing but ahi, and have literally had Ahi 20 minutes after it had been caught and for Portland this fish is head and shoulders above most other places. Now you can get better fish but you will have to pay 2-3times times the price for fish than is maybe 15% better the math is not there in my opinion.

This place has almost ridiculous sized portions of sushi and sashimi. You have to take two to three bites to have one piece! It’s crazy! We love going here for this reason. Our most recent visit was still consistent and large portions. Some may think it may be a bit too large to have to eat one piece in two to three bites. Some may appreciate the larger cuts and them not skimping.

Everything was so delicious and they have good cocktails! I would like to come back. The volcano noodle was too spicy though.

Don't let the 4 stars on service and atmosphere deter you. They are a fast paced place but absolutely worth it to visit. Get there 10min before they open to make sure you get a table without potentially waiting much longer.
The pictures never do it justice... These prices are huge and whatever devil they sold their soul to to deliver such monstrous portions at such great prices much have made out like a bandit. Do yourself a favor and don't eat all day, then go here to have your sushi cravings curbed for at least a few weeks. Fantastic all around. Just a small space with a fast feeling pace.
