Amazing original and creative flavors. We got 3 waffle cones with one scoop each and it was about $23. I highly recommend trying some of the unique flavors because they were an adventure! The ice cream we picked was delicious! The flavor explodes and was a nice delicious treat! Street parking at night on a Tuesday night was easy, but I can imagine it gets packed in that area on weekends, so plan ahead!

Staff is fine, the TACOLATE is a RIP OFF! $6.95 and it is TINY. They sell it in a big box to make you think it is a normal taco sized treat, it is NOT. Wasted $7 bucks on a bite sized ice cream sandwich. VERY Disappointed.

Best ice cream ever! Worth the wait in line. Even in the cold rain.

This was a great location (of the three in Portland)! Great, fresh, quality ice cream, as per usual! Letting us sample many flavors helped us make the “right” decision. 😊 The service was great and the place was clean. Thank you, Salt & Straw!

Always love Salt & Straw. Ordering ahead makes life super easy. Some people say it's gimmicky, but if that's true, they were trendsetters for the gimmick. High quality. Polite employees.

The SE location was DEAD when walking in at like 4pm on 9/3/25. I was surprised there wasn't a line out the door [how it normally os] on the hot and 86% humid day. The Gen Z hispanc female [female becase they did not have a pronoun pin to singal preffered pronouns] that was on register looked mentally checked out, not sure what it was but never greeted me and my partner. The Gen Z dude [didn't have a pronoun pin either] did welcome me and my partner and offered samples. He stated what was on the last call list, we tried the strawberry and hops flavor. We got 2 split cups. He laughed at my joke to break the awkward atmosphere up whrn I entered. The only reason its a 3 because of the horrific availability of street parking and the hispanic lady that clocked out after ringing us up zipped out of the location asap and had a frustrated face when leaving. Hope her days got better than yesterday's experiences!!

The cinnamon snickerdoodle tasted heavenly and was an okay price. Never tasted ice cream as good as this. Wish there was more seats when we went but can’t mark a star down for how great this ice cream is.

Pair and blue cheese is my absolute favorite! I remember when it first came on the menu, so happy its a standard now. I always say im gonna try something different but its too good to pass up. Worth the line on weekends, but best on a week day when everyone else is at work and the lines are gone 😎🤣

Pleasant experience here. It’s pretty packed but the line moved swiftly. The employees were very nice and patient!

We ordered a single scoop of olive oil, and a double scoop of lavender / strawberry coconut water to share.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable: they knew the menu and the flavors inside and out.
The creative flavors were delicious, and I especially enjoyed the olive oil, which was mellow and not too overpowering.
