Samurai Blue Sushi & Ramen

Stopped in for dinner before a concert. Dinner was fast, fresh, and delicious. We got two rolls and some nigiri. The service was quick and the waitresses were super nice. Also sipped on some sake and a lychee martini, which were both refreshing. Will absolutely be going back in the future.

Delicious food and nice staff - we got the mango roll, samurai roll, and the chicken yakasoba. Super filling for the two of us. Highly recommend!

Average food late night and if you place an order later at night, they might just cancel your order…. Maybe they need to update their hours because I ordered at 11:40pm and after 20mins, they just cancelled my order. Boooo!

This place is definitely among the best sushi my partner and I have ever had! it’s super good. they’re very accommodating for food allergies, and clearly label allergens on their menu. this place is super affordable too! it’s really a gem??

We had five dishes, six if you count the green tea. The pan fried gyoza were a soggy mess. All stuck together and difficult to eat gracefully. Of the two sushi dishes, one was fried in tempura batter and okay, but the batter seemed a little unusual. It was nothing great, but was edible. The vegan sushi was good, but it is hard to mess up cucumber, seaweed, rice, etc. The Korean style chicken was drowned in sweat syrup, not at all expected. That softened up the Korean style batter to the point of unrecognizability. It was like a corn syrup drench on chicken wings. Not at all what I expected, but was okay for my partner, who likes sweet. The green tea was off somehow, but can't say how. Maybe we are just spoiled by the really good Taiwanese green tea I buy. Overall, meh.Service was attentive, but a bit defensive. We were told the chicken and pot stickers were the way they should be, with no allowance for customer feedback.

Live right around the corner and this is our go to sushi spot! Incredible staff, so pleasant and attentive! On top of the phenomenal service they have gluten free tempura which feels like such a treat. I also highly recommend chance of rain. If you’re on Mississippi you need to stop here!

My favorite sushi place in the area. The servers are all so sweet and the food is excellent. The ramen is amazing too, which is surprising considering ramen at sushi bars usually feels more like an afterthought. I’m a frequent customer here and I’ve yet to ever have any issues.

Awesome local sushi spot! I’ve been looking for a place that has great sushi takeout for lunch. Samurai Blue has an awesome lunch special, 4 simple rolls for $15. I think next time I’ll split the special with my partner and order a fun roll, the perfect lunch. Super quick pickup, about 20 minutes. Super cute inside, too. Very nice people here as well. Perfect way to break up my work day. Lovely!

My husband and I were walking down the street to get ice cream after dinner when I saw their sign for a Vegan Nigiri Flight. So we sat down for 2nd dinner and shared the flight. We really enjoyed it and there were some taste combinations I never thought of putting together but they were great!
