On a good note. The waiter was really attentive, friendly and food came out quickly. We came in closer to closing time after my kids game. We were cold and hungry. We all ordered pho and the broth was just not that good. It tasted very watered down for the beef pho and I tried the chicken broth from my kids. Also tasted a little weird and the broth looked murky. A little over priced for what it is too if you ask me. I thought maybe the Boba would be better, looked more just like ice slush and was not blended well. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Our first time here, and the food did not disappoint! There are lots of menu options. Bobba tea drinks were half off today. Very friendly staff. We started off with crab ragoons. They were delicious and hot. My friend ordered the orange chicken plate, which came with a yummy broth. I went with the Kham Poon soup that has red coconut curry with chicken and baby quail eggs. It was so good!! There are lots of Pho options, too. I am looking forward to future visits. Of course, we had to do a bobba tea!
The only opportunities that got my attention were to keep the tables stocked with utensils if that is where the customer is to retrieve them. Watch for cleanliness of the floor under booth tables and in the booth cushions. Also, handprint smudges on the insides of windows. It makes it feel a little unkempt.
1/24/25 second visit as we wanted some hot soup on this chilly day. We were pleased to find out that they now have a $10 menu where the portions are just a bit smaller. This includes Pho, pad Thai, drunken noodles, and chow mein. It was a great deal. The service was friendly and the food was great once again. Oh, and their meatballs for the Pho are so tender! I've had others in the past, and they were rubbery. Not these..so good!

The restaurant was dingy and unimpressive, which was not surprising given the north Portland location. It reminded me of a location where a shady car sales man would go to close an illegal deal. The food was tasteless, no creativity, no sense of culture or authentic flavors, I wouldn't be surprised if they are using frozen food. We tried this place on a whim and would strongly advise to eat at the Taco Bell, across the street. The homelessness in the area was very prevalent, and we did not feel safe leaving our car parked out of eye sight. The wait staff was constantly bickering and getting into loud verbal arguments with the kitchen staff. All in all it was a very unpleasant meal. We will not be back. I do not recommend this place for Thai Food or Boba Tea in the Portland area.
This place was soooo good. The pho, including the vegan one, was full of flavor, and you get a good portion of add-ins. There are a good amount of Boba options, the service was great, and the food was out in a timely manner. Everything was very reasonably priced.

So happy to find this place a couple months ago. Very friendly place with good food at reasonable prices. This family owned and operated restaurant is the only place to find Pho and other SE Asian food of this kind in North Portland. The setting is great and overall experience has been very satisfying every time. UPDATE…. Last few times have been unimpressive. I always get Pho and it has been good, but last few times it was tasteless and the meat was chewy. Still the best option for Pho in Kenton/St. Johns, but definitely more like 2.5 stars or less. Sorry Souk.
Parking: Not too bad for parking most times.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really set up for wheelchair access.

I am a many time returning customer to sassy's. The food has always been amazing and the service just brings it over the top. They're kind, hardworking, and wonderful folks and their food is fantastic.
House favorites are hotpot night, seafood pho, chicken wings, rolls, banh mi, khao poon, laap and nam khao
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Front entrance is accessible with a ramp but steep, back entrance to parking lot is flat and much easier for entry/exit.

Pretty good boba. We like the pho.
The boba was old and the tea was watery, the pho was fine , it was all over priced despite having “discounts”. The service was nice enough but it was just overpriced and disappointing. Not what it was a few years ago.

This is the best Pho restaurant in this area. The owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met and are truly passionate about serving the highest quality and diverse dishes to satisfy anyone who loves Lao, Vietnamese + Thai and a range of authentic asian cuisines. I had the Sassy Sou's Red Curry with chicken and it was ?✨️. The owner shared they have 20% off specials every Thursday through the end of the year, and $2.00 off Boba drinks throughout the week in the evenings. I am excited to come back again and can't recommend enough.

Went here for the first time today, everything was 50% to celebrate their four year anniversary! Food came out fast, this is the best pho I’ve ever gotten! My partner got the chicken banh mi and he gave it a 10/10. We also got tarot and honeydew boba, despite the restaurant being packed the service wasn’t rushed. I will definitely be back again. We got the crab rangoons chicken wings p4
