Highly recommend! We went here after a suggestion by the bartender at Pacific Standard. We were blown away by the drinks options! The lists are incredible and the service was 10/10. Recommendations based on our preferences and while we didn’t eat, the food smelled amazing.

The best bar and bartenders in Portland, bar none.

This is not an inexpensive bar, be ready to spend $100+ for two people. But it's truly worth it.

Aside from the really good drinks, I accidentally forgot my coat inside and our waiter ran out to the street to find me and give it back to me. Absolute legend.

- they were plump and sort of sweet
- the way they were dressed was perfect
- Puget sound oysters

Fried brie ⭐⭐⭐✨
- basically imagine a mozerella stick but brie

Drinks and food are top notch, in a cozy hidden speakeasy. Food menu is small but delicious. Drink options are numerous and delicious. Nice service as well.

10/10 EXPERIENCE!!! I came here mainly to check out some of their interesting food items and grab a quick drink or two. Gotta say I was blown away by how amazing everything tasted here. Service was really great, helpful, and lightning quick. Food has gotta be hands down some of the best I've ever had. The twists on traditional dishes were all executed to PERFECTION.
Oysters were a must and I can say I've never had oysters served that way but it was incredible. Wagyu tartare was so flavorful and rich that I was scraping the plate at the end for more. And finally the panna cotta was the perfect ending adding a delicious light strawberry finish that wasn't too sweet but so good.
Would HIGHLY recommend all 3 as they're all 10/10 in my experience.
Definitely make your way over here because the drinks are also amazing and they have other options that aren't whiskey/scotch as well. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely coming here again!!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Portland! Every bite and sip was incredible. Would highly recommend the Sinners and Saints cocktail, fried Brie, whipped ricotta, and Jimmy Nardello peppers! We sat at the kitchen counter, which I probably wouldn’t do again, just because your back is to the restaurant, so you don’t really see the awesome vibe/decor. 100% will be back!

My first time at Scotch Lodge on a not so busy night was a 10/10. The decor and the design allows you to have a conversation that’s intimate. We were well taken care of by Erin. She explained the menu to us, which is playful by the way. She was always around to make sure to provide solid recommendations on drinks and food options. If you live in Portland and you been thinking of going, I think you should.

We drove into Portland kind of late and searched for a place to have a quick bite to eat and a few drinks. We showed up but realized we needed reservations. Upon arriving we were thankfully accommodated at the chefs table. BEST seat in the house! We had the Fried Brie, Oysters, Brussel Sprouts, Waygu Tartare, and the Pappardelle. First off the Oysters, BEST I’ve ever had!! The Fried Brie was heavenly, while the Waygu Tartare was a tasty and beautiful presentation. One of my favorite appetizers is always Brussels sprouts and they happened to be magnificent. By the time we got to the Pappardelle we were stuffed, as their portions are large in size, we took it to go and ate it the next day. It was super tasty as well! I would eat here all the time if I loved closer!! ❤️-all the way from Illinois!!

Delicious food and drinks and attentive waitstaff! Vibe is lovely - romantic and cozy, not too loud but can hear music and chatter as nice background ambiance. Sitting at the bar and watching the skill of the kitchen churn out dishes is super fun. The “Under Pressure” was unbelievably good and tasted like a blueberry whipped cream. We also got the whipped ricotta which was served with warm bread and was creamy and zesty. Togarashi on arancini is something we’ve never had before! And the chocolate cake had a yogurty sauce that complemented the fruit and chocolate flavor well. Definitely recommend!!

We celebrated my sons 41st birthday here. It was fabulous. The waiter was very informative on all the drinks and helped us pick the best for each of us.
