Best date night spot in Portland. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere is always 10/10. I recommend this place to anyone who will listen!

The scallop dish and arancini were the best out of what we tried. didn’t like: pan di zucchero was yellow/wilted rather than green and didn’t have enough chinese sausage. Pickle fries were ok, though didn’t have much pickle flavor. Drinks were good. Noticed one of the chefs climbed atop the counter to grab something and his shoes probably shouldn’t have touched where the food prep was being done.

Great place. Excellent cocktails and food. Loves the oysters and they had a nice twist, would recommend. And definitely would wait to get in if needed. Though for the restaurant I would recommend getting rid of the candles in the hallway, hair and clothes can easily get into the candle.

This place is a go-to place for whiskey lovers. They have a lot of the everyday whiskys with a few hidden gems. I enjoyed the feel of the downstairs room, but something feels off. I am a fan of their good. You have to try the pickle. fries

If you’re wanting to impress someone, take them here. The food is 10/10 everything we got. The drinks are insanely good. Dark room but its the atmosphere you expect.

Stopped in for a birthday dram and was treated to a complimentary blueberry whiskey sour. The single malt scotch whisky selection was incredible, and the bartenders were very knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions. The whisky menu was organized by region but was so vast that it made selecting only a few difficult (a good thing). Prices were reasonable. Finding the entrance was challenging as the name was not posted on the door, but that kind of added to the charm. The whipped ricotta was fantastic.

2nd time here - this time we had some food too! Great atmosphere with some real bartenders who take their business seriously. More Scotch here than you can shake a stick at. The staff here are smart and good. Katz was wonderful with his suggestions. We’ll be here again.

Went there for a solo adventure, the food took a bit of time but honestly for what I got product wise it was worth the wait.
The bartender was very sweet and made sure I was okay with how the night was going and when I asked for an alteration on a drink (i dislike pineapple) he was more then willing to continue the drink I wanted and offered instead something else in it's place to make the drink shine.
The place is very pretty and tucked in, seeing all the bottles around you is a great vibe as people ask to taste this or that, you'll see the bartenders go up their ladders and shuffle them about.

My favorite drink was the Pandan Old Fashion. The softshell crab sandwich had a good crunch but had too much cabbage and pickle slaw.

Hell. Yes.
We tried several things on the menu but will absolutely be back for the Brussels, tomatoes and pasta. Those dishes were standouts for sure.

First time at Scotch Lodge. What a treat. If you have a friend or family member into scotch or whiskey, you’ll be surprised and enjoy the array of options.
Tasty food options. Recommend getting a reservation (a week out minimum) and grabbing a dinning table or booths on the bar side.
Street parking available. Enjoy.

Upscale, elegant bar food (some of the best fine dining in the city in fact) and drinks to match the elegance of it all, next level service.

Wonderful place and I had a server there last night called Ms. Jones and she did an absolutely amazing job. She deserves all the raises

Wanted to try Scotch Lodge a couple of years ago, then COVID hit and shuttered all bars. Thankfully the Lodge survived, and appears to be thriving, and for good reason. This is a very comfortable space, that puts you at ease. The staff is welcoming and our bartender had an impressive knowledge of their whisky selection with none of the MWL “library” air of pretension and membership exclusivity. A great place for friends to have a conversation, and equally intimate for a date night drink.
Might suggest a reservation since the word is out about this place. We stopped in @5pm on a weekend without one, and were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. I've been collecting whisky during my biz trips to the UK for the past 30 years, and the collection here is wide ranging, and impressive. The prices are fair and offered in 1oz and 2oz pours. Will definitely be coming back.
