I stopped by to get some last minute work done and honestly this is one of the best places to work remotely. The interior has great seating and plenty of space along the sides. There are a lot of outlets available which is always helpful.
The coffee was amazing and I wish I had taken a photo of it. Maybe next time. The staff were wonderful and really friendly.
This place is a little far from where I live but I hope I get the chance to come back. I highly recommend checking it out. It is totally worth visiting ✨

Terrible experience. The coffee had a weird, foul taste that stayed in both my mouth and my wife’s—something wasn’t right. We’ve never had anything like it. Disappointed and definitely won’t be coming back.

Seemed like a cool space at first. Ordered an iced americano with oat milk and honey. “Honey” was a watery syrup and when i received my coffee it didn’t have oat milk in it. When i asked for some it was just tossed onto the counter and I topped it off myself. Poor attitude on an otherwise lovely sunday. Upon leaving my coffee tasted like sweet water. When i returned to have it remade the barista offered to add shots but when i requested it to just be remade she said I’ll refund it and you can go to the coffee shop across the street. I happily obliged and went to a quality coffee spot “oblique coffee roasters” up the street. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

Loved the location and overall atmosphere of the shop, but had the worst service I’ve ever had in Portland… I ordered an Americano with whole milk and honey, when I received it, there was no milk in it so I politely asked for some. To which the tall barista with brownish/ red hair responded “There’s half and half over there”. I told her that I’d prefer a splash of regular milk so she grabbed the milk and instead of pouring some in my cup, she slammed the jug on the counter for me to do which was super weird. After trying the coffee I was super disappointed, I never ask for a drink to be remade but I felt it was only right since it didn’t even taste like espresso…Instead of remaking it, she told me that if she were to remake it, it would taste the same as it already did. “Can I just pay for an extra two shots then?”. Instead, she said “ I’m just going to refund you and you can go to the coffee shop down the street for a better one”. I was appalled at her attitude, 0/10 service. But the coffee shop down the street had great roast and the barista was lovely. Will never go to this shop again unfortunately, super weird behavior.

Coffee is decent but my god 7.25 for a latte?! And the staff is very cold, not welcoming at all. Go to The Pie.
We went for coffee at Seven Virtues the other day. The coffee was delicious. Being GF and having a celiac in the family I was delighted to find out that all their house made treats were GF. The berry bar was amazing! Better than anything I’ve gotten at GEM.
They do offer regular and GF bagels. The cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful about cross contamination with gluten. I think they should get a second toaster for GF bagels.
I’m excited to bring along my GF/celiac family members soon.

Every time i come in here, they make me what i consider to be the best cappuccino in Portland. And I'm very discerning. Beans always outta this world. Kid had a full on meltdown here one time and i still go.

Chill coffee shop with quality menu. A bit pricey for my budget but otherwise quite pleasant. Lots of natural light!

$7.25 before tip for an iced oat latte is about a dollar (or more) than competitors.
I understand costs of doing business, but when places are trying to squeeze the customer and the experience isn't better in some way, I'm not going to choose them over others. There's no rewards membership to keep me coming back, no warmth in the space (in service or atomosphere), and their coffee isn't better than the likes of others within walking distance.

Massive price increase, cant answer a phone, overcharges for bags when bought in house. A $22 bag will cost $26 if you buy it in person versus online.
