Love this bar, super fun and local neighborhood spot. Love the events that they have, but also really love just meeting friends for a drink to hang out. Staff and service at great, very safe space, all are welcome.

The bar that claims to be "your dad's favorite gay bar" is apparently NOT the favorite for women and the disabled. A gentleman who works there so kindly screamed and berated a woman who stopped to sit because her leg was in pain. Rather than showing sympathy, he weaponized the police of all people, who then proceeded to frighten her and threaten to accuse her falsely of attacking the police. If I ever go to Portland again, this place is OFF the list. I advice any woman of any race and disability to avoid going here if you don't want to get the police called on you for being there. Terrible people work here

Now a customer, I'm a former employee and I'd like to share my experience here. Derek, the bar's working owner, was always a pleasure to work for and with. My health rapidly declined for various reasons during my employ. And yet Derek supported and accommodated my frailties; he was always patient, understanding, and non- judgemental; and, he never gave up on me as an employee. His type of kindness seeks no reward. That's why I'm leaving this review to publicly thank him. This industry certainly needs more owners like him. Thank you Derek!!

It was 9:30pm on a Wednesday night and I stopped in for something to eat. The owner said the cook had already left but he would go turn on the oven back on for me. I can't have soy, gluten or dairy and what he brought out was delicious, perfect for my diet. Great service, the best I've ever experienced. Delicious food and drinks 10/10.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy and soy free options

I am a crossdresser and have been here several tines now. I am always welcomed warmly. They remember me every time I show up (although a 6'2" crossdresser that uses a crutch seems memorable) and do everything they can to make my time there fun. Also the events are great. Especially Rayne's trans events.I feel like a regular.

Parking: Get there early. The parking is street and limited.

If you are looking for a diverse bar in Portland then this is NOT the one ! Not a safe space for queer POC. The staff was rude. I like ‘Crush’ bar two doors down!

It is first and foremost a bar. My brother and I walked into this black hole, with a few tables grouped together in the corner, and a line of tables against cushioned bench seating in front of us. And space. Lots of dead space for dancing, partying, mingling and flirting. But it’s not first a restaurant, so don’t go in expecting a Columbian atmosphere of yellows, blues and reds, faux concrete facades, or sea-shore pieces. It’s a black bar with several musical video screens. There is authenticity in the food, however. Small bite meals… $12. It would behoove them to perhaps offer just a bit larger portions for just a few dollars more. Or, at the very least, indicate the portion size on the menu. It was enough to satisfy, and well worth the $12, but like we felt walking in there, at first, we were dubious. We did find out that everything on the menu was handmade, which gave me some relief. I ordered the “Arepas with Avocado Salad” – there might have been 4 sand-dollar-sized arepas, but I remember seeing only 3. I stopped counting at the first taste which was fantastic. My brother ordered the “Empanadas with Avocado Salad.” He received two empanadas. All in all, a decent stop. But first and foremost, it’s a bar.

The food and drinks here are amazing. I came when DJ Lord Ethr was there and he was spinning a great playlist. They also have mocktails and CBD drinks for those who want nonalcoholic. My go to food items are the chicken or beef nachos!
