I am a crossdresser and have been here several tines now. I am always welcomed warmly. They remember me every time I show up (although a 6'2" crossdresser that uses a crutch seems memorable) and do everything they can to make my time there fun. Also the events are great. Especially Rayne's trans events.I feel like a regular.Parking: Get there early. The parking is street and limited.

If you are looking for a diverse bar in Portland then this is NOT the one ! Not a safe space for queer POC. The staff was rude. I like ‘Crush’ bar two doors down!

My husband usually drinks his dinner (he likes whiskey) yet when the kitchen presented us with this freshly made and flavorful soup, neither one of us could put our soup spoons down. Definitely five stars!!

It is first and foremost a bar. My brother and I walked into this black hole, with a few tables grouped together in the corner, and a line of tables against cushioned bench seating in front of us. And space. Lots of dead space for dancing, partying, mingling and flirting. But it’s not first a restaurant, so don’t go in expecting a Columbian atmosphere of yellows, blues and reds, faux concrete facades, or sea-shore pieces. It’s a black bar with several musical video screens. There is authenticity in the food, however. Small bite meals… $12. It would behoove them to perhaps offer just a bit larger portions for just a few dollars more. Or, at the very least, indicate the portion size on the menu. It was enough to satisfy, and well worth the $12, but like we felt walking in there, at first, we were dubious. We did find out that everything on the menu was handmade, which gave me some relief. I ordered the “Arepas with Avocado Salad” – there might have been 4 sand-dollar-sized arepas, but I remember seeing only 3. I stopped counting at the first taste which was fantastic. My brother ordered the “Empanadas with Avocado Salad.” He received two empanadas. All in all, a decent stop. But first and foremost, it’s a bar.

I went for dinner with a friend and we had no particular expectations, just curiosity about Colombian food, which we'd never tried. We started with a delicious lemon/peach cocktail and chips with mango salsa. The salsa was unlike Mexican mango salsa--creamy and delicious. We shared a vegan arepa and empanada, which both came with a fresh and delicious avocado salad. We also shared a supado--vegetable stew with rice. I can't emphasize how good everything was. The portions were also generous, and the service was fast, friendly and helpful. Definitely going back!

The food and drinks here are amazing. I came when DJ Lord Ethr was there and he was spinning a great playlist. They also have mocktails and CBD drinks for those who want nonalcoholic. My go to food items are the chicken or beef nachos!

Food is fantastic!! Oh goodness, I've never had Colombian food until here and I'm missing out!! Had alittle bit of everything and it was all great, the ceviche, empanadas, chicken sudado, nachos! Drinks as well were super good, the owner Derick was super sweet, as well as the cook. Would love to come again when there's a show!

It’s worth going to for the food alone. Colombian inspired dishes that are so tasty! The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. The bar itself is really fun and campy, highly recommend!

Sweet spot that I can imagine is hopping when it's dark out. Decent pours, nice folks, tried their nachos :) the hot sauce was Smokey and delicious.

So I just had the most surprisingly amazing meal I've had in a long time. Seriously delicious Columbia food at a neighborhood queer bar. Who knew? The Sudado (potato onion bell pepper green onion over rice) was just delicious! The avocado salad so good. And lots of gluten free options (actually most everything) I will most definitely be back.

This bar is owned by the owners of Crush bar, who famously didn't pay their workers as soon as the pandemic began and went so far as called the cops on them when the workers tried to get their money. Lately their have been instances of bullying and toxic abuse from the owner of SIssy bar towards the POC community and their next door neighbors. Stay away!

Cocktail was tasty, fun, and affordable. Chicken arepas were also tasty (the fresh avocado salad and salsas were AMAZING), however they were very dough-forward— I would love to see the dough on these thinned out a little bit. Atmosphere is very open and spacious, but could definitely use some work with spacing and establishing different seating areas. The orange sliding doors would look great in pink…
