Ordered the pulled pork Sammy. The spices were on point, except a little bit too salty for my taste, and the bread was soaked in a mixture of (very excessive) oil and fat. Like eating a sponge. Not really my cup of tea. Render down and drain the meat a little more. 👍
Best vegetarian sandwich, hands down. The bread is fluffy & lightly crispy, the ingredients are fresh, the flavor combinations are on point. Service is chill and friendly. The giardiniera (pickled veggies) are the perfect side, crisp and bright. Great place for lunch!
One of the best food trucks in Portland.
Update your hours. Drove all across town to find you closed. No update on Instagram or Google either. Very unprofessional.
The porchetta sandwhich blew me away. Everything homemade and fresh, easily the best sandwhich in the city. I’m excited to come back.
God-tier porchetta sandwich. My goodness was this a delight.
I’m all about the food cart life but a food cart that has fancy foods and real plates and forks, count me in.
My mom wanted to try the 5s5, I didn’t love it I was looking for something for deli style, but don’t get me wrong it was good. My mom loved it.
I also ordered the Zappa of the day which was a parsnip puree, it was super tasty. 👍
I was sad they did t have pasta today, but the polenta ragu smelled and looked amazing as it passed by.
The salad was soo pretty, I would have done without the nori but it was definitely something different. A good different.
Very fresh.
Now the whipped citrus curd with rhubarb compost. 1000% yes
Don’t sleep on this place.
They even have parking and a covered patio.
Will come again

Really delicious food! The panini and salad were fantastic. It was cold out and they delivered the food next door to the beer hall which was very kind!

Please update your hours if you’re going to be closed :) Drove from WA to eat here and was super bummed they decided to close during normal hours
I have been coming here for years. Each person I have brought has loved this place. EVERYTHING here is crafted carefully and homemade, from the bread and pasta to the syrup for the soda. I have never had something I didn’t love. There are always 4 sandwiches (2 meat, 2 veggie) that you can’t go wrong with. There are always 1 meat and 1 veg that are consistent and 1 meat and 1 veg that change week to week. The pastas have been amazing, the salad is always special, and the pickled veggies are things I think about during the week.
Vegetarian options: The chef always has clearly labeled veggie options. Plus, at least 1/2 or more of the menu is vegetarian.
Parking: Big parking lot, and there is always street parking within a block if you want to walk a block or two.
Kid-friendliness: There is always a kid grilled cheese, and you can’t tell the chef loves kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy parking lot access and you can roll right up. Menu is easy to see.

Stopped by on a grey, drizzling morning right after landing in Portland. Owners were incredibly friendly and had helpful suggestions for what to order, and everything was delicious! Particularly loved the seasonal grilled corn they had that day

This place is what Portland is all about. Top quality food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. More people need to know about this place. Menu changes, but Eggplant Panini and pasta were 10/10.
