I can never get a table because it is so busy but we do sit at the counter by the oysters and I love it there. I get to eat with new folks who are usually going to the Schnitz as well as us. Meeting new people and enjoying delicious food and wine is tops on my list.
Met an old friend here I'd not seen for decades. The ambience and noise level were perfect to take our time and converse in a relaxed setting. This would have certainly been a 5 star all around experience. We would have liked to be checked on once our food(s) arrived. We had to consistently ask for service.
