I was told that they do take Amex when they don't. The cc companies need to get this stuff figured out it is the connected world after all today.

So good!!!

Sorry, but this is a huge no. Weird unsanitary looking conditions, rude service, and strange dried out inedible food that went straight into the trash.

Yes, the Teriyaki is good. I went in this place over a year ago but never ordered because of the smell. I walked out. I finally stopped by again and it seems to have improved. It's still not the most cleanliness inspiring spot, but I wasn't turned off too bad.

They have a well done, classic seattle style teriyaki that's worth trying.

Pictured is the orange chicken (#12 on the menu). While the rice is fine, the orange chicken was the problem. It was very over cooked and lacked any real pieces of chicken which made it hard to chew or enjoy.

Updated review!!!
As of 12/10/24, they have cleaned the place up, gotten rid of the smell, and they were even nice, dare I say almost friendly! The chicken teriyaki I had was the best I have ever had- large size, fresh crunchy salad, perfectly cooked chicken. It was awesome, I will be back weekly from now on!!!

Old review from 2021: Good teriyaki, very good pearl rice, good portion size, but damn the health department needs to come do an inspection... place is dirty and nasty and smells like cat pee when you walk in. I am scared I am going to get food poisoning from this place. Clean up a little for gods sake, trash piled up all over the front, disgusting! Good food, dirty place...

I order takeout from this lady all the time. She’s amazing and her food is out of control good ESPECIALLY for the money.

Incredibly underwhelming. Literally the most disappointing teriyaki I've ever eaten. I'll give the restaurant two stars because at least I'm not gonna get food poisoning--the chicken was fully cooked but there was practically no teriyaki sauce on the chicken while my salad was drenched in dressing. Since the restaurant is now takeout-only, I had no opportunity to try the food on-site, where I could have adjusted it to my taste. It was bad enough that I considered driving back and asking for a refund, but it was too much of a hassle.

The gyōza were okay, but I didn't even get gyōza sauce--I got a packet of sweet and sour sauce. That was also disappointing. Definitely will not be going back.

Food is fantastic. Place was pretty busy and you can tell locals hit this place up all the time. It's got a real old school vibe because it is a house/ business. I felt like I was in someone's grandma's place with all the house plants... To go service onlyPretty much no wait time if you get the chicken or pork. They have a really good menu even though I haven't tried very much on it. The quality of rice was so good. I say that because if it's just so so it just doesn't feel like anything else fits together. I really like that. They had sauce out if you wanted something spicy or a little bit more of the teriyaki sauce and it's just so easy to grab. I think a lot of places fail at some of the to-go elements. But this was so dialed in. It didn't matter. There were almost 10 people waiting. I think I was in and out and three to four minutes. This place rocks will hit them up again

Parking: Street parking on this place but it was easy to navigate on the side street
