Got a cold coffee once, not the hot one I ordered.
Went another day and got a crappy looking lemon cake. I had also ordered two.
I know corporations don't care but they lost me forever, never ever buying, even walking near one of these things.

We’re here visiting Portland from Charleston, SC. We really enjoyed that the atmosphere here was so pleasant and friendly. The gentleman that checked us out, Kyle, and as so nice and accommodating. He helped me make a black tea into a southern tasting sweet tea. Very appreciative. Even got to pet a friendly dog while we were here. Overall seems like a great spot.

I paid $ 17.00 for 3 cups of gross, they didn't make any of our coffees
This morning, I was absolutely floored by the kindness and excellent service provided to me by O’Ryan, the friendly gal running the cash register, and the rest of the staff at this location. I had accidentally purchased a bag of decaf Sumatra (that they so kindly offered to grind for me), and when I got back to the office all of my coworkers were so disappointed at my mistake! I called and spoke with O’Ryan and he was so pleasant and allowed me to exchange the coffee for non-decaf without issue. They even had the new bag ground up for me when I got there! This is the friendliest display of customer care I have seen from any food establishment in years and it really made my day! The employees at this location should receive a raise for their fabulous service (not to mention all the craziness they deal with downtown on a regular basis). They are promoting the Starbucks brand and five star service. Thank you, baristas!!!!
