In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

We’re here visiting Portland from Charleston, SC. We really enjoyed that the atmosphere here was so pleasant and friendly. The gentleman that checked us out, Kyle, and as so nice and accommodating. He helped me make a black tea into a southern tasting sweet tea. Very appreciative. Even got to pet a friendly dog while we were here. Overall seems like a great spot.

This morning, I was absolutely floored by the kindness and excellent service provided to me by O’Ryan, the friendly gal running the cash register, and the rest of the staff at this location. I had accidentally purchased a bag of decaf Sumatra (that they so kindly offered to grind for me), and when I got back to the office all of my coworkers were so disappointed at my mistake! I called and spoke with O’Ryan and he was so pleasant and allowed me to exchange the coffee for non-decaf...

As much as I love Starbucks I am always the customer that double checks if the venti is the large one. That fun fact aside, I absolutely love the pumpkin spice frap with the addition of the crunch from caramel crunch. Paired with a muffin or pumpkin loaf and it's destined to be delicious.
