I frequent quite a few Starbucks. I never used to but I do now. I wronged this company a time or 2 throughout my addiction years ago. When I got clean I made a few living amends without speaking to my sponsor first with a manger or 2. I’m thankful they were graceful with me. I do my best to come in and purchase drinks for myself and help someone in need at times as well with Starbucks products when the time arises. It’s the least I can do for my old defects and short comings....
This location has become a favorite of mine since it’s within walking distance of work. Went in and got myself an iced peach green tea which was a recommendation of the employee. And It was DELICIOUS! I was welcomed in with a smile and “good morning”. The atmosphere was ideal with mellow music softly playing in the background. Has great seating and table tops inside. Even picked myself up a cute reusable cup!
I have always had an excellent customer experience with everyone here, as well as consistently great coffee and food! I love their London Fog Tea Latte w/soy, and the Spinach, Feta Egg White Wrap. This morning, I witnessed the barista with the short blonde hair (didn’t catch their name!) be present, patient, and compassionate with a houseless man struggling to communicate his beverage order. Thanks the coffee, and thanks for keeping the culture of kindness alive in Portland!
