Awesome chili. The staff was kind and considerate of me having a cold and recommended the corn bread and beef chili.

I fell in love with the idea of Stone Soup when KGW was doing a weekly news piece on them so I had to go check them out in person. Everything about Stone Soup is delightful! The restaurant is spacious and bright with an eclectic mix of chairs with plaques on it from the Portland restaurant that sponsored the chairs. The staff s attentive and friendly. Craig is usually at the front counter taking orders and always willing to share the story of Stone Soup. The support and collaboration from other Portland restaurants is heartwarming. And the food is absolutely fabulous!!

Nice place to have visited. Was there to attend a graduation for my son, who had finished up a course in Culinary.

What an incredible business and group of people. Truly what Portland is about: community, food and giving back. Every chef is a hard working soul who loves what they do. You couldn't ask for better ingredients for your food.

Delicious and inexpensive soup! Also, the have yummy vegan and vegetarian options.
I can't say enough about this organization. What they do, who they are, and the food they serve are all why I support them wholeheartedly. Eat well, feel good, and do better for Portland. Could you ask for more? Thank you Stone Soup for doing what you do in our community. I'll see you soon~ Heather

And the food is absolutely fabulous!! Stone Soup is closed to the public for 3 months due to COVID-19 - during this time they are providing meals to 500 unhoused men and women with the help of other local partner restaurants. I look forward to Stone Soup re-opening to the public and the time that I can enjoy another meal there. They also offer private events and one of these days I would love to host one! In the meantime I plan on supporting them financially both in direct monetary contribution and in choosing them as my Amazon smile recipient! Here's the link to the news story.

Stone Soup is a beautiful hidden treasure. Their food is delicious and healthy. The staff are kind, patient, and bright. There is keto, vegan, and GF menu items. All staff are from corrections and are working to gain a great skill set in the kitchen and at the register. To top it off, all their chairs are donated and on the back of each is a plaque stating where it was donated from. How cherishing!!
